Great picture quality. Night vision is ok at night but i recommend the security lights to boost the quality at night. Batteries are decent. Needs a good quality internet for these to work as they were designed to.

The quality is nice, the hardware feels nice, the battery life is incredible, but there's no 3rd party app support, you can't leave them on/viewable on a screen without timing out, they don't arm when I leave my home. There's more cons to these than positives. I regret buying them.

    Disappointing performance

Had high hopes based upon Arlo website & spec's, but equipment is lacking in several areas. Infrared night performance is non-existent - you must have the area fully lit to realize any sort of view-able content. Not at all as depicted in examples on Arlo's site. The cameras have a very broad horizontal view, so expect to get quite a few false hits from any movement outside of your desired target. There is an activation zone feature that will help eliminate this problem, however, it requires a subscription to activate. The provided magnetic mounts aren't much use. The magnetic is so strong that you really can't get that slight adjustment you want to make - its going to go where it wants to. Lastly, quality customer support could possibly help address these concerns, but expected to be transferred half-way around the world, given a case number, then left hanging with no effective response provided. If I had it to do-over, would seek out a different option.

Nice to find security cameras that actually work just as I wanted! The capacity to change the the sound and motion sensitivity settings was a real bonus for me. The videos are clear with good audio quality.

I did A LOT of research before choosing Arlo. They are wireless, have a great picture, comes with free cloud storage (I subscribed, but they do have free as well), and their app works great. Highly recommended

One of the best security camera you can get on the market. Picture quality was impressive and setup was a breeze. I ended up buying a second set and some security lights to along with this.

This system provides instant clear video. It picks up on the the slightest movement. A spider went over the camera and activated it. Sometimes, if the wind is very strong, that will set if off too.

This is a good value item. I wanted security cameras that I did not need to hard wire as I could be moving. Additionally, the video quality is excellent. Ensure that you have the bandwidth to accommodate the cameras.

I wrestled with getting security cameras for a while. I didn't want to have to pay a subscription fee to access my own recordings. There is no subscription needed for Arlo, though some are available. I like that I can download video that I may need to external storage on the main hub. Arlo keeps videos for 7 days on the free plan, but this ability is what sold me on the product.

Overall, I'm pleased with the system. Even though it's a 1080HD camera system, don't expect that quality when you "zoom in" on your footage. If you need a peace of mind in having a security camera, this is a good option. The steaming is a little glitchy and even on a ultra high-speed connection on both ends, it still goes in and out. You pretty much can expect to sign up for the subscription service for storage, depending on your needs.

Installation to Operation it’s a quick & easy step. No wiring headache. Battery usage was fast on the beginning after recharging & adjusting the camera always from street traffic it save a lot of usage. Motion sensor too sensitive it will pickup even a single leaf movement on the floor, I try to adjusted the motion sensitivity & it does not help. Camera cannot be too far from base station, WiFi signal will get too weak, it will drain battery faster & it won’t support WiFi extender.

If you’re like me, you struggled with committing to a surveillance system. You’re two biggest options are either Arlo and Nest. Best I can say is to do your research. The big decision for me with deciding on Arlo was the free cloud storage for up to one week. Most other brands make you pay for some sort of subscription service to have any kind of storage capabilities other than local storage. The free weeks worth of storage is plenty of you keep up with it, as well as the ability to download from the cloud. A couple of my cameras are in high traffic areas and record around 10-15 times a day: the battery has yet to dip to 50%. I would highly recommend the arlo solar panel as well!
