Did not want to totally up-grade the entire system. Also the access and video storage of recordings was not as good as their older model.

If I was starting from scratch, I wouldn’t go the Arlo route again.

Also, even though you may think an external storage device will be an option? You can not access recordings through the app... You have to disconnect and reconnect to a computer in order to do that. I’m seriously considering throwing my system straight in the garbage and going back to Costco for the better one without the hidden Monthly fee tricks...

I was only able to afford and pay to get a Camera installation company to install the Arlo camera system, only in Mid-January, 2021. The Arlo Camera system has malfunctioned and/or been defective from approx. the day after installation. I deeply regret that I wasted approx. $2000.00 of money on the Arlo Camera System. I should have never bought a “Wireless” security camera system, and instead I should have bought a DVR “Wired” security camera system.

I thought this would be similar to the camera I already had. This is not feasible for indoor use. If someone walks in front of it in a dark room the light turns on. I did not find a way to prevent this from happening. Also, it has a proprietary power connector unlike my other one that just uses a micro USB connector. What's more, this connector is on the bottom of the camera, making it hard to just set the camera on a shelf while the power is connected.

If not, you can record any history. It will just give you live video. The other camera’s that is not required. Don’t buy until you get all the facts. My camera is in the box. Junk!!
