Misleading product. Do not buy

For how expensive the product was, I expected more. I feel completely misled. They give you a free trial of their security service that automatically starts so you aren't aware of this nuance and then it ends after the return period is over, so now I am stuck with a useless product and out hundreds of dollars. Without the subscription, you get no recordings at all unless you press a record button while live streaming. They don't make that clear even when you try to look it up. I don't recommend this product.

Complete junk and horrible customer service!

After 6 months 2 of the 3 stopped working. 2 of the 3 the battery lasts less than 16 hours even with the Arlo solar panel connected. Been trying to get the 2 replaced via warranty and Arlo will only replace 1 at a time, leaving the security of your household at risk. I will NEVER purchase another product from Arlo ever again. Save yourself cash and buy zmodo cameras on Amazon, they last a lot longer and they are wired so you don't have to worry about battery life. For $500 you get either 3 Arlo cameras or 20 zmodo cameras

Better indoors than out

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The cameras are very simple mount but the battery life isnt very good only lasted my a day on a full charge I don't know if i just have some duds or if thats really how there supposed to be, Ive moved them indoors as indoor security to make it easier to switch out the batteries but the pack only gave me one extra battery so im only able to have 1 or 2 charge and monitoring.

Arlo Pro 4 Camera is a Great Camera

POOR QUALITY CONTROL

One of the 3 cameras wouldn’t pair or even factory reset so I had to box it up and had to return to another store since it wasn’t in stock at the original store I purchased it from. After doing an exchange all 3 cameras paired, except now 2 of the security mount screws do not unscrew and keeps spinning which prevents me from locking the cameras into place. SERIOUSLY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! If I’m paying over $660, ARLO NEEDS TO CHECK THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT!!! Am I annoyed? YES!!!! Now I have to box it up AGAIN and return for the second and final time. YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME ARLO!!! Time to find a different brand.

Unsatisfactory

Called Arlo support several times, but really got an answer as to why. Just came back from Best Buy to return them, but was told they would not accept return as it was outside their return policy of 15 days! The cameras do not work! I’ve bought many things over the years from Best Buy, but after this I highly doubt I will ever buy anything from Best Buy again.

Not the greatest

Very Disappointing quality.

There is limited technical support beyond a glorified off shore call center. The camera’s night vision, night motion and night recording are of very poor quality, when and if it detects motion and records. Day time motion sensitivity needs to be dialed down to avoid every leaf movement being identified as a person. Audio had to be turned off to avoid recording every time a bird chirped After multiple on line chats and emails the canned responses offered no remedy. The last time I sent detailed information of me following their recommendations through the web site, the Arlo server went down and it was rejected and lost. Their latest proposed fix was to move the camera and connect it to a different WIFI. I haven’t decided what I’m going to do with the remaining 2 cameras. The App is not very user friendly. I can not recommend Arlo cameras based on quality, performance and lack of qualified technical support. Check responses made here to negative reviews and you will understand. Just for a comparison, I have a Ring doorbell which works flawlessly with better quality performance and recording at a fraction of the cost.

Great then Useless

Until the Wi-Fi had a disruption and the characters never reconnected. Of course they would go out and NOTHING would work to get them reconnected as I was headed out of town. Geek Squad trouble shooting didn’t work, Arlo trouble shooting didn’t work. Absolutely useless. Of course, next day service from Geek Squad is impossible so all I can hope is nothing happens around my house while these useless cameras are not functioning.
