These are great. Can spotlight a person place or thing and you can record everything. Can also hear what people are saying. The motion sensor and flash settings are great. I was surprised at how well these work vs other cameras.

They work great fir what I need but I prefer the older ones with magnetic mounts. These ones use screws, which keep them safer from being taken. But the convenience of magnetic mounts was extremely helpful when not wanting holes thru my house. They are definitely more clear but still extremely over priced. I buy them because I need security. Hopefully these eill last longer than the last set bought.

These are great cameras. The range is great and the quality is very clear. We love that it zooms in on the detected motion and that you’re able to adjust the sensitivity of both motion and noise.

Not a big fan of these. I have Nest cameras and I’m really happy with them. The problem with them is they don’t work that great when viewing through the Amazon Echo Show 8. Figured I’d try the battery version if the Arlo as a couple of spots I wanted to put them, power is not that close. The battery on them doesn’t last anywhere near what they claim. If they are in a room that you walk through multiple times a day, you need to replace the battery in 7-10 days. Also, the delay from when you get a notification is at least 20-30 seconds, so if you want to check something immediately, it’s too late. I read that in other reviews but didn’t think it would matter that much - it does.

Initially had issues connecting when following the instructions provided (eventually figured out that the blinking blue light was not needed for connecting). Didn't want to pay for cloud storage, so I bought the base station and a 256GB thumb drive for local storage. My setup also includes a ring doorbell camera which cover the door openings, the Arlo cameras cover all other areas. Picture quality is decent for 2k and I have it set to the pan and scan setting so battery life is good for almost a week. It would be a real pain if I had them mounted extremely high and needed to change the batteries this frequently. Overall satisfied with my purchase as I bought them on sale!!! Good luck!!!!

So the cameras themselves, amazing. The build quality of each one is really the high point of this kit. As for the network setup, that was a different story. When setting these up on your home network, DO IT RIGHT NEXT TO THE ROUTER. Literally, be less than 2 feet away to avoid having to go through all the trouble I had went through.

I have had these a week, love this camera. Can play a noise (siren), turn on a spot light on the camera. The app provides phone notifications of: person, animal, motion... the only issue to look at a video, it says "Buffering" - so I just download the video if I want to review it. Easy set up! Many options to set up. 2K video is nice and clear. I plan on mounting these 3 cameras to my house but in the mean time, I mounted them to the end of a 2" x 3" piece of wood and just extend out the bottom of my window and fill in the gap with thick bubble wrap. I put in tall wood screws and those are raised and I close the window so the nails keep the camera from falling out the window. Was nice because when it rains, there are drops on the camera. I could easily bring in the cameras, wipe off the lense and back out the window they go. I'm going to McGyver something to put on the top of the cameras to keep the raindrops off. Cameras were on sale too at the time I bought them. I even use them inside - past the glass and you can barely see there's a camera. Highly recommend these.

List of pros and cons below Pro -great picture quality overall Cons -battery life is horrendous so unless you want to keep pulling them down to chage them you are forced to buy each camera a solar power station which is pricy -wireless system is spotty and cameras constantly go down making you have to take them down and reconnect or wait on hold for 45 minutes to get them rebooted. Even with the highest speed internet which forces you to buy a home station to connect to your wifi to give the cameras their own uninterrupted connection which is also expensive. FYI All these problems i have addressed to find a solution with on the phone support but have had no luck. I took all the necessary steps with distancing, angles, power save mode and so on but nothing. Im currently down a camera that i cant get to stay up because if all 3 are running then 1 drops from "signal interface" as they THINK it may be. It sucks feeling sucked into spending more and more money on all these added attachments just to get things to work how they shohld without.

These cameras are the best of the best. They are so easy to set up and use and incredible battery life. Also the smart features are great as far as filtering what motion alerts trigger notifications on your phone. I love everything about it. The night vision is great and it picks up audio very clearly.

They are great only thing is don’t expect the battery to last long if your in a hight traffic area. I do have them at max resolution and max quality/ who wouldn’t lol that also is my problome but they are in my retail store so capturing tons of clips and I get pry about a week at max with them. However there easy to charge so it is what it is..also keep your eyes peeled as they go on sale a lot at Best Buy I got lucky and got them after the holidays for 350 wich is a steal if you ask me…600 doesn’t sound as good to me but still fair

    Great Cameras

This set up was super simple! I like that there’s a key that you need to open cameras for batteries, no one else can get to em without the key. I really enjoy that you can edit your detection zones, we ended up getting 3 of these cameras to replace our old ones and can tell a difference in the video quality being super clear. I would recommend getting the solar panels that charge your camera for high traffic areas so you don’t have to keep changing the batteries. That’s what we’re doing, but if you can’t, just edit the detection in that area and you should be set. The app is pretty simple and easy to use to upload the cameras. My batteries came half charged, but they gave me an extra battery. make sure their fully charged and they’ll last you a couple weeks before you can start rotating them to charge but like I said it super easy to change and charge so it’s not too much of an inconvenience right now. Over all 9/10!

This camera works great. Huge upgrade from older Pro models. Video is great, wireless charging means no shorts, spotlight helps in dark areas that we want people to know they're there...just shop around for sales.

The Install was super easy and the app is very user friendly. Unfortunately we didn’t do enough research before purchasing and have learned that because these are battery operated, they will technically not be functional in climates below -14. These are way too expensive to be useless during our harsh winter months which is a huge bummer because we do really like these cameras. We highly recommend these for anyone who lives in warmer climates!

I researched security cameras and found that Arlo had the highest ratings over multiple years. I have not had any other outdoor camera, so I have no way to compare Arlo's performance with anything else. It did take a while to get the cameras set up and connected to our Alexa, but now that they are functional, I love the system because I can get audible alerts. I am still having issues with the camera picking up animals even though I have deselected that option on settings, but I am pleased with the video quality of the camera.

Nice system, easy to set up and mount where needed, and for the most part easy to program. Now for the bad…I’ve tried over and over to set it to use the zone feature so we done get the cars driving by (no luck), tried to turn off notifications for vehicles and on certain cameras no motion (no luck). All in all I’m happy but the bad affects the battery life so every 3 or 4 days I’m replacing the battery. Good charger and it easy to do so there is that. I haven’t upgraded to the solar charger yet.

Instruction were clear, easy to follow. I have a VMB 4000 base station with four Arlo Pro 2 cameras so I decided to connect the Arlo Pro 4 camera to the base station. Setting up the Pro 4 camera was easy. One thing that is impressive is the field of view and the 2k resolution. The Pro 4 comes with a 3 month trial Arlo smart plan which pretty neat. It makes zones unnecessary but you can set 3 zones for detection. The color is really good. The spot light is good but I prefer to use the night vision IR which is really good. It has track and zoom but with 2k resolution you can manually zoom on the recording which very sharp and clear. I live in a forest so I get lots of animals. Bears and deer. I recommend the Arlo Pro 4 cammera.
