    I am a fan of the Arlo Pro 4 cameras, but I find the price of adding more to my existing setup to be a bit steep. The video quality is excellent, and the setup process is incredibly simple. On top of that, the customer service is friendly and supportive. However, I am seeking an alternative solution to storing videos without having to pay for the Arlo fee membership. It seems unreasonable to pay for a service to use my own device when I have already purchased the device itself.

    Great cameras with a big drawback, if you do not have a monthly plan with arlo they lose a ton of settings and options including a major one, saving videos locally which to do so without a plan you would need to buy a separate tool.

    They work perfectly fine, easy to control from your phone with the Arlo app, the Notification Videos recording has excellent audio and image quality.

    Very good cameras and easy to install. I have some older Arlo Pro2 cameras and I was able to combine these with the old cameras. This allowed me to keep and use my free 7 days of storage. Without that ability and being forced into a monthly subscription I would have looked for an alternative. Some lag on live feed but they all have that. Quality images, the light on the front definetly helps. Good value.

    Arlo Pro 4 Spotlight Security Camera

    Arlo Pro 4 wire-free cameras are small enough to capture any movement outside my home, but is not big and awkward to handle. The video is simple and easy to use. I especially like the 2K video with HDR and the integrated spotlight. I love that it has a rechargeable battery and connects directly to Wi-Fi. Recharging the battery is simple and easy. All I have to do is insert the security key into the key and turn clockwise to release the camera from the housing. Remove the battery and place it on the charger. I would recommend this camera to family and friends. An inexpensive security system for a single family home.

    Using it for around 1.5 years . Good battery life . Use with solar charge in high activity area. Only issue it sometimes looses connectivity and takes lot of time for bringing the live feed.

    I have had the Arlos for a couple months now. I really like the quality in the packaging and the build quality. These are expensive cameras, but they are a pretty decent camera. I opted to get the solar panels so I don’t have to worry about changing the battery’s. I live in the Midwest and we haven’t had snow yet since I purchased these. I’m hoping they hold up in the cold just as well as they do in the heat. The only complaints I have is while it is a very clear image, the zoom is a joke. When you zoom in on an object, like my truck in my driveway, you can’t even tell what brand my truck is or even make out if it’s a truck or an suv. The zoom is atrocious, so if you are able to mount it really close to what you want to monitor then you should be fine. The other thing is the motion detect feature. It is really sensitive even on it’s least sensitive setting. It will alert me of a bee or fly fling in front of the camera or a car driving by on the street, which is over 100 yards away from the camera. It is very annoying and the only way to turn this off is to disarm the camera which will prevent it from recording all together. Over all I’m happy with my purchase so far. Time will tell how they hold up.

    The pictures are great. Unfortunately, staying connected is a huge problem and this was after I bought 2 netgear mesh extenders. Staying connected to the cameras is a huge problem.

    Eat to set up Clear & wide range picture but it’s delayed Like 10 seconds- seems like nothing but it is when you are watching something happen and then the camera decides to alert you on your phone off the motion. Kind of a bummer. Choosing not to return it since I dont want to take it all down.

    I purchased these wireless cameras with the intent to watch my dog outside while I am cooking and am unable to see her digging holes or barking at the neighbors from the kitchen! There is a slight delay on the camera but the live feed is all I needed to make sure she is safe and not being naughty. When this Arlo was at Best Buy, it was a three camera and extra battery charging pack. I have run the camera everyday since I bought it in November. I would say that the cold winter weather decreases the battery but it’s still been a month and I haven’t had to change the battery yet! A tip for all purchasers out there… don’t lose the special tool to change the battery. It is small and is the only thing that you can use to change it!

    I bought these for a house I had bought & was renovating. They worked great for the construction site & after I moved in, as home security. However, one of the mounts was chewed up by a squirrel, apparently. I was unaware they no longer make the mount my set came with. After an extensive search online, I contacted Arlo to find out more. The CS Rep didn't have any idea what I needed or how to get it. After he wasted an hour of my time, he quietly "ghosted" me on the chat. He had no familiarity with the product or change in mounts. I had to spend another hour to find videos posted online by owners of the product, then check my camera accordingly, to figure out what I needed. Their CS Rep should have known. Good Cameras, Terrible Customer Service!

    HINT ON GETTING YOUR CAMERA TO SCAN THE QR CODE

    I had to call Arlo support to figure this out- if camera does not read the QR code, press and HOLD the SYNC button until it blinks AMBER 3 TIMES. Then it will start flashing blue, then it will connect. Other than that little glitch in setting these up we love this 3 camera set. Note each camera must be activated one at a time.

    If you are looking for great cameras that display good, quality live video and have no problems, this is not you camera. These cameras worked great the first few weeks we had them, however, more so recently we have encountered an issue with them being “offline”. This has severely hindered our ability to use the cameras for their intended purpose. We have tried everything under Arlo’s support and customer service to render is this issue, however, nothing has helped. Get prepared for great help in their only text support and the “unplug it and plug it back in” line. Please do not purchase these cameras if you actually want to use them.

    Theyre great for having no hub. Have to pay for subscription, though, bummer. One of the three cameras just gave out after 19 months. Support non existent. Still, decent buy for some home security at a decent price.
