So far this system has been a great buy, very clear video and accurate detection. It knows the difference between human and animal and vehicle

Cameras are amazing! They are very easy to install and set up! The picture quality (2k) is great! The only thing that I would say that a “pain” is that the cameras do not pick up motion immediately as I would like. Misses like 3-5 seconds of the beginning of motion. But, I do love these cameras!

Very easy to install and operate. Battery life is at 95% after two months. Night vision and recording is very good. To view live camera takes about 30/45 seconds to connect.

Easy enough to install, charged the batteries first. App has a bit of lag when connecting to the camera live, but so far it's doing the job well. Likely going to invest in the power cables at some point so I don't have to worry about the batteries, but I'll see how long they last.

Buyer beware - without the subscription….

B U Y E R B E W A R E ! ! ! ! Without the subscription, you basically have a DUMB wireless camera. I understand that the subscription provides value add enhancements such as, smart object detection (vehicle, person, package) and cloud based storage, however you need to also have a subscription to tailor your activity zone. In my instance, I have a camera pointed at my drive way, and without the subscription, I get a notice EVERYTIME a vehicle drives by (I live on a rather busy street). I called tech support, and there is no way to “crop” the camera so that I will only receive notification as to when there is activity in my driveway. Now my battery is being rapidly depleted. Sad! Additionally, ARLO does NOT play nicely with Apple HomeKit, so you can’t use the Apple Secure Video feature set…. Look elsewhere unless you are buying know that you are going to subscribe to their service.

Image from Daylight to Twilight is remarkably good. Color night video can be helped with LED spotlight, or go with its high quality IR sensor. Very easy installation. LED spotlight (switchable and dimmable) works well and is essential for areas with no overnight lighting. Plug and play with built in presets, or tune it up with lots of user options for time, image, area covered, even distinguishing between cars and people. Built in battery lasts 2-3 weeks between charges on a busy area. Recharging is easy with included snap-on USB cable.

So far so good - batteries last unless you have a unit that see a lot of traffic or gets nuisance signals (like from a flag hung next to it). Video is good and recording to Hub and Flash Drive.

Camera system started out by making a positive impression on me now it's soon to be replaced after only 1 year. I mounted the cameras at various locations throughout my yard and linked them to my router. Battery life on 2 of the cameras were not great so I added solar panels to 2 of the cameras. Well I'm currently over the 1 year warranty on the cameras and 1 of them has died. Have to relink it to see it completely drain the power in under 1 day. I also have issues with the solar panels staying connected without corrosion forming in the connection so they won't charge. This much money for only 1 good year of use is not any better than a monthly system in my opinion. I will soon be replacing all the cameras and will unsubscribe from the Arlo online storage.

I've had these cameras for about a month and a half and have needed to charge them what feels like 100+ times. The quality is good, but the battery life is no where near what the box says. I have changed settings, turned off the spot light. Needless to say I will have to invest in their solar panels.

Works amazing. Connected them to my existing hub and wired them to an outlet. Only drawback is pretty much you have to subscribe to them now unlike the old days when they offered free service. But well worth the investment to keep your property safe.

These cameras do great, but if you try to zoom in the images are blurry which is why I can not give them a 5 star. These cameras are designed better than the older basic edition Arlo cameras. I love how these ones charge compared to the old ones as well and so far the battery life seems to last longer in these ones
