    Bought this to upgrade my older Arlo system that used a hub. This one was a better value since it came with 3 cams intead of 2 and a battery charger with an extra battery. I also like the security feature on it that makes it need a key to remove the battery or the camera from the mount. Got it on sale so it was definitely worth it for me

    I purchased these Arlo cameras with the intention of setting them up around my home. However, the subscription plan required to gain all the functions has really deterred me. These are great cameras and certainly have the video quality and features you would want, but they come with additional costs. While I ended up returning them, I would still recommend the camera if you're willing to pay the monthly subscription.

    This is the worst product I've ever had. The battery only lasts 2 weeks per full charge if there's normal/light activity. One of the 4 batteries it came with was a total dud. It died overnight when fully charged multiple times. I already had to contact Arlo to replace a full camera set because the actual casing of 1 camera couldn't hold a charge either (and I had to pay for shipping the returned item to them). Also, you have to pop out the camera/battery from the casing to charge the battery and its not as smooth as they show. It literally takes me 5minutes for each camera to pop that thing out. It's been 2 months with them so Arlo is denying a refund. They only want to try to replace the products which they already did for one camera and it is still not working well. I dont want to replace or fix, I want to be done with this and have my money returned for a lemon product.

    The cameras work well, BUT when I signed up for Arlo’s monthly security plan, the auto renew was set for a more expensive plan that I had not selected; when I called to correct, Arlo seemed oddly unconcerned about the systemic problem, and reassured me that I wouldn’t be billed at the higher rate (no matter that their app said I would be). So, INSPECT YOUR BILLS FROM ARLO CAREFULLY

    I love the quality and sound of the video the only thing that I don't like is that the battery doesn't last for six months as stated by the company. I had to invest in solar panels so I don't have to worry about charging the batteries.

    I bought 3 Pro 4’s to replace some aging Pro 2 cameras. I was looking for better resolution, the spotlight feature, and much better battery life. After a month, I can tell you the image quality is great and the spotlight feature is handy. The battery life, quoted at 6 months, is a total lie. I realize the battery life is an estimate under perfect conditions. I was hoping for 3-4 months at least. All 3 Pro 4’s I have are in low traffic areas. I have the activity zones limited and the spotlight feature limited. All 3 units have never achieved more than 3 weeks before going dead. I have tried everything to increase battery life, but 3 week seems like the max. My 2+ year old Pro 2’s last longer. The Pro 2’s are going back up and the Pro 4’s are coming down. Don’t believe the hype. Unless you have these connected to power full time, they are useless.

    Worked great for about a week. I loved the product. But the cameras started acting up a week later.
