I had the Arlo first-gen doorbell that worked reasonably well in the early days, albeit with an annoying delay if trying to communicate with someone. Over time the first-gen model’s performance degraded to the point it no longer was triggered when someone walked up, with seemingly no resolution available from Arlo. I bought this model when it went on sale, and so far it is working fine. The base it mounts into is not the same as the base for the first-gen model, so be aware you will have to uninstall the old base and install this doorbell’s base.

Ive owned this camera twice already and unfortunately i just moved and my landlord didnt sllow me to put thjs camera up. However the picture is clear and the quality is top notch. The only difficult part is mounting is to get the perfect angle. Dont pass this camera up if its on sale.

Won't give phone notification. Otherwise working very well as expected.

Daughter has an Arlo doorbell. Its time I need to get one!!

Unfortunately, this camera was a big let down. While it has a decent picture quality, and a great angle of view, it is extremely slow to capture. Even with the settings set to maximum sensitivity, the camera fails to capture the activity fully. In most cases, tbe person will be 50% of the way into tbe frame before the camera even realizes it needs to record. Given its extreme delay to record (with max sensitivity), I would not recommend this product.

Product is great, pretty easy to set up! The picure quality is very good.

Video quality is miles better than the Ring camera I was using. Also better at detecting motion.

The recognition capabilities of the Arlo doorbell are so much better than the Ring doorbell I had previously. I have a doggie door so my four-legged family member can come and go out the door whenever he wants and EVERY time my Ring doorbell would tell me there is a person outside my door. The first few times seeing this are frightening then eventually it was like I was ignoring all the alerts from Ring. With Arlo I know a dog is an animal and people are recognized as expected.

I bought this doorbell on sale, half the price of its competitor, which I had and after several years quit working. This one seems to work as well for a fraction of the cost.

Make sure you have the correct width before you buy and try to install. Ease of installation. Good overall view and clarity.

We added the Arlo doorbell to our existing Arlo Security System. Great decision! It exceeds our expectations in every way.

This doorbell is amazing the battery last a good while. View on it is great and picks up motion pretty smoothly not much of a delay on my end.

Good quality the only thing that I think needs improvement is the response to when the camera detects someone and when I get an alert through the app.
