    To be honest I think the ring camera is so much clearer and just nicer app. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have issues with my Arlo. Ring has a few extra settings that makes it a little better.

    I've been an arlo user for some time now, so I, also have the older generations. I love all my cameras. I just wish it was a better way to preserve battery life.

    So far we’re very happy with it! The two way audio is very clear and the range and quality of the imaging is great. We plan to expand into other Arlo systems in the future for a complete home security system.

    I thought I was upgrading from 1st gen nope!!! Big mistake. The 2nd gen Arlo is a big down grade. Sensitively is awful only picks up motion for 1 ft of my driveway where the 1st gen covered my whole drive no problems. Yes sensitivity is set to %100 and I have redone the motion box's hundreds of times and contacted their tech support with zero improvement. The app is a huge a downgrade as well now the app never disables when it's standby mode. power cycled and firmware is up to date. It's all going in the garbage not even going to give it to someone because it's a bunch of problems.

    Does all that I need it to do. I thought that all of the door bells were a like. It does an amazing job on speaking to someone at the door through the app. The delay is almost non-existent. The night light works well.

    Decent image but that's about it

    It's 2k just like my pro 5s cameras but there is a lot of false advertisement with this camera. My pro 5s cameras have a 160 degree view and they pick up more than this camera on sides when it's supposed to be 180 degree. I hard wired it for constant power but it only runs off the battery. It doesn't start recording until I'm already almost inside my house, even with the sensitivity all the way up. Even when my mailman walks by he's already almost out of frame when it starts recording. Will be returning this today.

    It’s a good camera system for a cheaper price. The view could be better, but it’s 2k so the resolution it’s not the best, but you can zoom in .

    Very easy to setup but terrible to program. The APP directions, or the Manual and the phone adjustments are not the same and you don't get very good instructions from Arlo support. Also there is a big time delay after recording to see who or what is on camera, sporadic sometimes right a way sometimes hours or a day. Reset and reinstall did not help.

    No where near as good as original Arlo Doorbell

    I bought the first generation Arlo doorbell in 2020 and was very happy with it. It picked up every motion, package, and person easily within 30 feet of the door. After 4 years I seen the 2nd generation with higher resolution so I decided to upgrade. Had to be even better right? This is no where near as good as the original. Even after 2 separate hour and a half conversations with support and a replacement doorbell the motion detection is terrible. I can walk directly toward the door and the video will not start till I am literally 3 feet in front of it. Most of the time when it does pick something up the video will stop in the middle even if speaking at the door. One morning I left for work thru the garage and seen a skunk walking in front of front door and the doorbell never detected it. I had to calI my wife to be careful before my son left for school. I truly hope Arlo goes back and fixes what has been broken. It's making me believe they greatly shorten the distance to detect any motion so maybe I will buy more cameras to work with the doorbell camera.

    I have this doorbell on my front door however it's hit or miss with it recording movement!! I checked all the settings and still haven't been able to figure out why or what to do to make it work full time!
