Bought this about 4 weeks ago with 3 cameras. This gave me 6 cameras on my property and my daughter was moving into a college apartment dorm. She asked if we would install it for her apartment and we agreed we didn’t need it on the house with all the camera coverage. Got the doorbell installed on move in day and it was the hit of the dorm complex. As one college boy declared “Legendary” as he rang the door. This works great for the 4 girls in the apartment especially if they are not home to tell guests. And gives dad a since of security if someone is messing around outside of the apartment hallway if I need to alert the authorities. Spot on Arlo, and for the price of the services it’s a win/win for me.

I just got it and learning but I do love who is coming by our door. We have had someone messing with our door handle at night, now I can see who comes to our place and leaves.

I got this doorbell after reading some reviews on Consumer Reports and Wirecutter. I was able to charge and set it up before it was quickly installed by the handyman (I don’t have or know how to use a drill for my stucco walls). I did purchase a separate chime so I could hear it ring in the house. I am using it wireless. It does call my mobile phone when someone rings the doorbell. I am not sure if I like that. The picture is clear and covers a wide area. I am using the angled holder. I will have to see how often I have to charge it put the release pin in a safe place. Good value and A variety of features. I am happy with this purchase and recommend.

Went from Ring to Arlo...what a difference. Video is crystal clear, nightvision allows everything in yard and porch to be seen. Very easy set up, only took about 5 minutes, that included the install.

This is honestly pretty good and catches almost everything perfectly since you can set zones easily. Most of Arlos cameras can be linked to apple home also which makes it even better.

Clear image, detects motion well! Wish it had Apple Home integration like some of the other Arlo products. Also sometimes mistakes moving plants for vehicles.

Great product, so simple to set up and use. The app is intuitive and takes no time to get accustomed to and I’m 63! Many great features and affordable.

The clarity of the video is amazing, you can’t miss a persons face. You can hear the clarity of a persons voice, it sounds great. Takes a few to set up & for it not to lag, but once completed it’s instant.

High resolution videos and easy to install and setup. Currently when someone presses the doorbell button, you phone rings and a connected chime rings. You can have this setting or complete silence. Arlo needs to add a feature where you can select that the doorbell does not call your phone but a connected chime still sounds. Currently you can only have your phone ting and sound the chime or silence both. This is enough for me to send it back.

What I like most is that when someone rings the doorbell, I automatically receive a video call so I can see the person without them realizing I'm watching and listening. The other company's system didn't do that, and besides, this one is rechargeable, so I don't have to buy more batteries.

he Arlo Smart WI-FI Video Doorbell 2K is the latest addition to the growing Video Doorbell industry. The doorbell comes in a compact package that includes the Doorbell, USB-C charging cable, sim tool, mounting plate and screws. Unpacking the Arlo Doorbell is straightforward. Once out of the box you will need to plug in the USB-C charging cable and charge the unit as it comes with less than 50% charge. While the unit is charging, open your mobile phone and go to the Apple or Google Play store to download the Arlo Home Security App. Open the App and Create an account. Tap on Login, check email for 6-digit security code and tap enter. Once logged into the App and you will then pair the Arlo Smart WI-FI Video Doorbell. Use the included Sim Tool and depress the pairing button. Once paired with the App, follow the instructions to finish configuring the doorbell. Using the Arlo Home Security App can be stated as cumbersome at best. It shouldn't be this hard to configure and set up a Video Doorbell. Accessing the Video feed can be a challenge as well. Keep in mind the Doorbell unit does not have any onboard storage for video feeds, so you are forced to subscribe to a cloud service if you want to have any video footage captured. Overall, it's a decent attempt at a Video Doorbell, however it's severely hampered by poor instructions and app support.
