ARMS is a great party game for the switch. It's exciting and funny to play against your friends or just to watch while taking a break from playing yourself. The main gameplay is a fresh twist on a standard fighting game that keeps it engaging. What keeps this from 5 stars is the notable lack of single player content and a small amount of game modes. Hopefully the planned free dlc will include some new game modes that will keep players coming back

Good game for single and multiplayer. Kids can play it pretty easily as well

First of all let me say that I went into this game semiblind I didn't play the test punch and I didn't really watch any YouTube videos I just bought it and played it with my friends and family the first day and we had a blast even my 69 year old father got a kick out of playing. I gave it 4 stars because I don't think the single player is enough to keep me interested but this is definitely the perfect party game. Perfect addition to game night!

The colors make my eyes strained a bit, especially after looking at the screen for a while. However, overall it is a very fun game for those who enjoy combatting with others online.

Nintendo has done it again. They have crammed hours of fun into a fighting game that anyone capable of pressing buttons can master quickly. My son and I play Co-op and love the 10 round Grand Prix. Out of the 10 levels of difficulty for Grand Prix we have beat the first 3 levels with ease but need practice to beat the more difficult levels. Overall a great game for the family!

Cool game, not your typical fighting game. My 7yr old enjoys it.. no blood and gore so it works for him.

Nintendo has accomplished a real hit with the Switch and this game is a great addition to that. The game does not have a truly original story but the characters are interesting and fun. The gameplay works and is enjoyable. The joycons work very well and are responsive. Considering the the simple gameplay, their are various ways to be strategic with your fights. It handles the fights very well and handles online gameplay very well.

This is a fantastic new game, and just shows the risks that Nintendo is willing to take with its system. Rather than having the Switch be a jack of all trades like the PS4 and the XBO, they've dedicated it to gaming, and it shows. ARMS takes the Switch Joycon controllers and really explores the innovative uses of the new hardware. Enjoy this unique fighting game!

My 7 yr old son enjoys this game and so do I. Growing up with Atari and Nintendo, sometimes I struggle to play his new games but this one has a short tutorial at the beginning, which was very helpful. Although it's a fighting game, it's not all that violent, no blood or gore, and the characters aren't real people, more like cartoons with crazy arms.

Most fighting games are very difficult to get into, requiring players to learn combos and specific moves. The main challenge of ARMS is to react to your opponent and counter their attacks with one of your own. With simple controls, it's easy to learn. Customizable ARMS also make a nice way for pros to find the perfect combination. Some modes like 2 v. 2 or free for all aren't very fun, but a 1 v. 1 is a perfect way to fight.

he game is fun when played with multiple people. There is not much for content, and it gets repetitive after a few matches. In the end, it is a fun game that was played a few times, but now it just sits there. I don't think it is worth $60, in my opinion it has about $30 worth of content, and low replayability.
