Works great with Xfinity!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical going from a separate modem and router to a combo, but I'm glad I made the switch. My old combo didn't support Comcast's new speeds, so I needed to upgrade to realize the full benefits. My 5GHz wireless d/l speed went from about 100Mb/s to over 300Mb/s. Wired stayed the same, but probably because I have an outdated ethernet cable. As far as range, I live in a three story townhome. Router goes on the top floor and has no problem reaching the bottom (third) floor. Remember, internet signal is like an umbrella - it branches out and down. Overall, extremely happy with this deal of the day (99.99)! Also, make sure you rename your SSID and use the same passwords to match your old settings so your devices will reconnect seamlessly. Download and activate through the app, then get on your PC to set up your SSID/passwords. Don't forget to change the default admin password as well!

ARRIS - SURFboard AC1600 Dual-Band Router
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Why pay Xfinity $20/month to rent a router when you can buy your own, own it and it works perfectly fine in your home throughout your home. I am so happy I purchased this vs renting the company's modem where they keep making residual income off of my household. Do your research and always bet on you and find a way to always lower your expenses

Plenty good Router!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like small size and lower price point. . .reaches every place I need and delivers to four or five devices and probably more without a problem . . . Set-up went well. The only things I miss from the big Comcast rented Arris I took back to Comcast are a reset button and place to activate signal for devices to auto find wifi after outage. . .I have learned to use Home and other options if needed when Internet is interrupted. . .Googling for info

Great combo!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with this device. It was easy to setup and use. I recently cut the cord with ATT internet and cable, and chose streaming. With this device now I no longer pay the modem/router rental fee each month. It is also quite compact and has a nice design, not taking much space at all. Price was very reasonable too. Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase.

It is a modem.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well for the price. Easy to use and manage. Set up was smooth. Only hiccup is that the advertised app is out of date for Android. You have to get the new surfboard app.

Great router for the price.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this a little over a year ago for my small apartment. It has enough range and power for several devices whether it’s WiFi or Ethernet. I do casually game and I have not experienced any issues, but I guess that also depends on how fast your internet plan and provider is. I just wish it had more Ethernet ports since one of them basically got fried after lightning struck near my home and the aftermath triggered a surge, rendering that port useless. I do use the other port without any issues but now I have no back up ports on the router. Overall great device for the price and you’ll definitely save on those terrible provided routers from internet companies!

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up once you read the instructions provided and use a bit of patience. Took me about 30-40 min to complete set up(open packaging and connecting to app and my Internet service). I like having the choice between 2.4 Ghz/5 Ghz network. Really did wish it had a power/restart button so when there are network connectivity issues a softer reboot may happen but overall it's a great product. Also more cost effective than renting a router and modem from your internet service provider. Less clutter buying a router-modem combo.

Great!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so pleased to find this product. My old modem/router died and I was able to get this overnight delivered. I needed something under $100, ASAP. This was easy to set up and the customer service is great, as they helped me to change the password to my network. I am not a gamer and dont have smart TVs in my home so this was perfect for my specific needs.

Great budget combo.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very solid choice for a budget router. Purchased for our son to use in an apartment. He has it wired to an Xbox and he reports no lagging or other issues. For a small place and a handful of devices to connect to it works very well.

This ARRIS Cable Modem-Router works great.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does exactly what I needed. Was a fan of Motorola and Netgear until I recently attempted to replace my existing Netgear unit, first with a Motorola unit that Xfinity couldn't make connect then got a Netgear unit that lasted 2 days, replaced it with an identical unit that never worked. So after a week and a half of BS, I pick out this ARRIS (which cost about half the price of the others) and after using it for a month, I have had ZERO problems.

Works great, easy set up.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this when Spectrum wanted $50 to come and install there modem at my new seasonal residence. Both a cable modem and wireless router, so it was all I needed for my internet connection. I can now call Spectrum and have service shut off and not have to return their equipment.

Perfect Combo Unit
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third Arris product I've purchased over the years. I owned the Arris Modem and the only reason I had to replace it was due to outdated technology, that's how long I had it. I love this combo product because now I only have one product with duel functionality. It's sleek, easy to set up, and came at an affordable price.
