This is the best Modem for my Fax Machine & Computer

I really liked this modem router. It was relatively easy to set up but first one of the ethernet portals went out when it was about 8 months old and then when it was just less than a year old, the 2nd ethernet portal went out. The customer service was not helpful. She was extremely difficult to understand and after trying to work with her for over an hour trying to resolve the issues, she hung up on me. I'm shopping for a new brand that will hopefully have better reliability and better service. The cable guy said he has experienced a lot of the Arris ethernet portals going out.

I was trying to save money on my rental fee through xfinity and purchased this. It does not work well, constantly has to load. I live in a small 2 bedroom 1 bath home maybe 900 sq ft, I am using extra data from my phone company cause my phone can't pick up the wifi, have to continuously reconnect to wifi for roku, thought I might be able to deal with it but decided it was too frustrating. When I tried to exchange and upgrade to a better one, I was a week too late. Now I am stuck with this, it works well enough I guess, just hard when you go backwards in connectivity and speed.

Great product and excellent service faster and good

I previously had an older model of the ARRIS - SURFboard that was running on its last legs. I decided to upgrade to another new model. I have not had any problem yet as the speed is consistent and reliable.

Purchased modem to save rental from cable service. Seems to be better than the one from cable service.

Was concerned this might be under stated for my streaming use but seems to work fine. Stream 2 TVs, tablet, computer and printer, as well as 2 phones. Occasionally slow, but never sure if it is the device or the network itself.

I’m subscribed to high speed internet, I’m receiving over 140Mbps on Ethernet cable connected directly to the device, but I’m only receiving this WiFi signal on 5Ghtz and only about 25Mbps on 2.5Ghtz. Very inconsistent signal.

Super east to setup and install. Would recommend for anyone looking to replace rental equipment.

My last combo modem/router stopped working after almost 3 years. This one was $50 less, and works great! Best Buy employee was very helpful when I ran into the store at almost 9pm.

Complex to set up. Could not figure out how to set security. Would not work with a password. My old Motorola works just fine, after Comcast fixed the outdoor cable connections

The product works however set up is difficult. We're pretty tech savvy and it took over an hour. I use one channel for my phone and another for my internet

After ample research, I nailed down to this 16 x 4 modem/router. Performance is amazing and Best Buy has the best deal across.

Bought it because the features seem really good and had good ratings unfortunately it didnt work for me. I still think is a good product tho.

Adequate for the job but range could be better. Price is a little high but there aren't many products at this range. Saves you from paying Xfinity $13 a month

In the beginning, the wifi was very fast for my family, considering that there’s two networks (2G & 5G) but as time progresses, internet isn’t as good.

Internet glitches about once every three days. I had to purchase this twice for it to work on the second try. OK

After one hour chatting with Comcast Technical support and two more hours on the phone, they weren't able to activate this device and make it work with their network, then they told me that they need to send a technician to my house and charge me extra to maybe then make it work. You won't be saving enough money to make worth the huge waste of time.
