Works as well as Xfinity rental modem. There's usually no more than 5 devices connected at a time but there's really no delay and the range reaches out to my parking space on the street. I have no problems with keeping my device connected while in the backyard. This is a good product and super convenient having a router and modem in one.

Good speeds, the app is straightforward but also not necessary for setup which is nice. Overall good product and works well with my Xfinity service

Very solid choice for a budget router. Purchased for our son to use in an apartment. He has it wired to an Xbox and he reports no lagging or other issues. For a small place and a handful of devices to connect to it works very well.

Range is good. Speed is as advertised. Easy to set up. Looks clean due to the antennas being built inside the housing.

As a router and modem go, this machine works great, even better than my old Motorola dual modem/wifi router. My only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is the app that you download to your phone is useless. When I tried to go on the website for the router to try to update anything, the part of the website to login for that wouldn’t work. So basically, if you don’t care about having an app where you can update or track things like change your password and whatnot, this modem/router works just fine and devices connect to it easily. The only exception was I was having an issue with my Apple TV app working on my tv. But I figured out how to uninstall it from Roku, turn off the Roku from settings within the Roku app, and then turning it back on and reinstalling the Apple TV app.

Awesome speed. Much faster than cable company. Will save me a good deal of money in the long run. Extremely easy to install. This is the no # 1 selling brand in U.S. I’ve had for about 1 month, nothing bad to say about it. Thumbs up!

This modem has been great so far of purchase!
Easy to set up and the signal I've received through out the apartment is wonderful!
It connects very well with xfinity!
I have 5 different appliances such as computers and tvs and including cell phones and laptops hooked to the wifi and I haven't had a problem at all! Great buy!
Remember the wifi password is the security key!

This is in the lower end in price of cable modem/wireless router options you'll find on the shelf, but it has worked just fine for me. My usage is limited mostly to streaming apps/video and basic internet, and I have noticed no quality issues. Setup took a little longer than expected because I initially connected it to a port that was not connected to cable (how would I know?), but once I found a working port, everything went quickly, and the app is very convenient and easy when it comes to changing wifi name and passwords.

This ARRIS Cable Modem-Router works great.

Does exactly what I needed.
Was a fan of Motorola and Netgear until I recently attempted to replace my existing Netgear unit, first with a Motorola unit that Xfinity couldn't make connect then got a Netgear unit that lasted 2 days, replaced it with an identical unit that never worked.
So after a week and a half of BS, I pick out this ARRIS (which cost about half the price of the others) and after using it for a month, I have had ZERO problems.

The surfboard modem / router was a great purchase. Old one was outdated and just too slow.
I no longer have cable. So I use internet to stream, and streaming is a lot more fun when it is working good. No more interruptions.
I use internet for other purposes too, but surfboard modem / router is probably more powerful than I need. Love it though.
They also give good customer service and have an app.

This is the second Surfboard I have had. The first one was plug and play. This one very much was not. Confusing. I had to replace the first one because it died, and I did not have internet access. Without internet access, it was virtually impossible to set up. Adding to the confusion was in the instructions it said that you had to download a phone app to install. When I called for tech help, I was informed that THIS version of the surfboard did NOT require that app. So after two phone calls, and a lot of frustration in set up, it is working well.

I was in the market for a new router/modem as the one I had was starting to go out. A friend of mine told me about ARRIS as they had one and raved about the speed and easy setup. After getting it setup the router/modem has been great and it hasn't skipped like my old one was. I'm happy with my purchase and will look to using ARRIS more in the future.

This was a great upgrade from my old netgear router and separate wifi modem setup. Went with a wired cat6 setup on the playstaion, internet is fast as heck! The wifi signal doesnt completely reach the downstairs floor according to the app you use to set up the dualband router. Speaking of setup, it was too easy to set up. Id recommend for light gaming and movies and show streaming

This provides excellent speed and is a solid purchase for an all-in-one modem and router bundle. If you have a large house, however, I'd recommend hooking a wifi mesh to it for the best possible speeds.
If you do an in-home installation and your browser tells you it isn't compatible during installation (even though you've previously checked), call your cable internet provider and let them know. There should be a work around.

I bought this when Spectrum wanted $50 to come and install there modem at my new seasonal residence. Both a cable modem and wireless router, so it was all I needed for my internet connection. I can now call Spectrum and have service shut off and not have to return their equipment.
