Package stated specifically that the modem was for Xfinity internet and voice, After having no luck getting it to work with the Xfinity signal, Comcast told me it was not supported by Xfinity.

ARRIS modem - not compatible with Optimum

Same brand that they rent, but they have it configured in such a way that it is NOT compatible with their operation. Huge waste of money and hours and hours on the phone with them. Scheduled a service call and the service person said it won't work with their system.

Boo Best Buy

Due to this I had to buy a new modem and Best Buy will no longer let me return this. The 1 star is due to Best Buy's short return policy. If I had known this, I would not have bought this early to be ready for my move.

Posted .Hello - this modem is for use with Xfinity internet & voice service as noted in the product listing. If you do not have Xfinity internet, the modem is not compatible. If you do have Xfinity, it will support Xfinity internet speed plans up to 800 Mbps.
