I'd like to recommend this to those stuck paying the unnecessary fee to cable modem subscriptions. It saves you a lot more in the end for cost, service was not interrupted, if anything it has sped up a bit compared to the service providers equipment. Plus the cost definitely outweighs the monthly charges you would receive from a service provider.

I wasn't sure if I would see a difference from 6121 but it seems a tad more responsive and wanted to have newest model for newer router- satisfied as name stands behind quality.

As a replacement for an older DOCSIS 2 modem, this one increased speed and reliability well.

Bought this due to lag issues I kept experiencing with Fios. Installed a dedicated cable line and this modem. Install was less than an hour, the modem was compatable with my cable provider, now no lag issues that aren't server based. Great peace of mind knowing that your hit markers are in time and not behind. Great modem!!

works with twc. sufficient for our needs of up to our speed. ends up paying for itself

I bought this modem to run Comcast. I have basic Comcast service and the modem works great.

Basically, just plug in and go. It boots up very quickly. You just need to remember to work with your Cable Provider to make sure they are sending a signal to the box. I'm saving about $8.00 per month by not having to rent their box every month.

Every router needs a modem, and every modem needs a router. This one is a pretty standard one, reliable, and most of all, it is its own unit. Some people buy the modem/router combo, but I think that's less efficient because if something is wrong with your internet, it's hard to figure out if it's the modem or router that is causing problems. Having separate units for modem and router is better in my opinion.

I have a Comcast modem and after bringing home this new modem I could not use it because I have Comcast phone service. This modem will NOT work if you have Comcast phone service.

I have the 50 mbps with Comcast and this modem works great and has fast wifi speeds while on my laptop, iPhone, and iPad. Can't provide any feedback on setup because I was on a free "professional install" promotion, so Comcast tech set it up for me.

The speeds I get with this are fantastic. I watch a lot of Netflix in HD and never even notice I'm streaming. I've been using it for a few months now and it's fantastic. It does have a blinking light on it so you'll want to put it out of the way so it doesn't distract from your awesome streaming.

I had to buy this new modem as my internet service has been upgraded. Rather than renting, I bought this unit. I have been using it for over a month & it has performed perfectly.

This is a very good unit for having combined the wireless router and cable modem together. it puts out a very strong wifi signal that can be received eveywhere in my house.nice product.

My cable provider router that was being rented decided to die so I ended up making the decision to save a bit of money and upgrade to a modem that would allow an even faster connection to my ISP. it's been running 24/7 since purchase has not needed power cycled has not had any sort of problem or issue whatsoever I highly recommend this product especially if you already have a wireless router like myself and just need a stand alone modem.

Upgraded from my Motorola Docsis 2.0. Got better speed right away. Very nice modem and easy to use.
