Fair Modem

The lights all stay on despite the fact that the connection isn't there.

Great modem for next 3-4 years

Also, the download speed was strong throughout, rather than starting high and dropping off after a few seconds. A couple days later I upgraded my Internet package to 50 Mbps, and this modem has delivered a consistent 50-55 Mbps with no drop off after a few seconds.

Does what it's supposed to do
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Found out from Comcast they weren't going to support our previous modem any longer so went to Best Buy and was assisted by a very helpful sales person. I opted for the upgraded modem and good thing because a couple of days later Comcast offered to upgrade my internet speed to the next level (which this model supported but not the one below it) as a courtesy for being a long time customer. Haven't had any problems with it. Runs great.

Unfortunately that means that none of my laptops can connect directly to the modem...only through the wireless. Not a big deal but an inconvenience.....
