Bought this to replace modem from Comcast. More reliable and faster speeds

This modem keeps me from paying the Comcast rental charge. Don't believe it if they say you must use their modem if you're getting a Triple Play. I kept my Ooma service and am using this modem. They just had to set the phone service to null in order to make it all work. Not paying for the equipment rental pays for this modem in 2 years.

I replaced an older SB5120 with this DOCSIS 3 modem. It took about 10 minutes of negotiation done automatically between the modem and Comcast to get it up and running. After that one time setup, it has been great. Much, much faster than the 5120 and running flawlessly for about a month now.

Good product at a good price. I bought it to eliminate the rental fee from my Comcast bill. The router is easy to set up but I still had to call Comcast to have them help set it up.

This is great for streaming video. You need no knowledge of how to connect. It was extremely easy.

Fast and easy. Plugged in the modem, called Comcast and gave them the MAC address of this modem and I was up and running. Do yourself a favor and stop giving $10/month to the cable companies for the rest of your life. Own your own modem and router and it'll pay itself off in no time. Important: If you have a triple play package that includes phone, you can't use this modem since it does not have any telephony support.

doing research on line I saw on the web, read the reviews and decided 2 take a chance and I'm glad I did. returned my modem 2 twc after reading the reviews I didn't even know they were charging a fee. no letter was sent nor by e-mail by twc greedy b*star*s!!!! These companies have us by the ball* live long and prosper. now 2 wait and see how long this modem holds up? LoL. Oh just call twc customer serv let them know the make and modell and they will do the rest.

I have time warner cable and the modem they provide you have to pay a lease fee monthly this modem saves me money and is smaller than the one the cable provider gives

Affordable, easy to set up, and compatible with my provider. Drops occasionally but not bad for them process.

I use this modem with XFINITY ISP. Simple setup and function; works great. Would be 5 star if it had CAT5 input instead of coax only.

The best cable modem! I bought an older model around 5 years ago and it lasted me a long way until it was accidentally dropped and broke! I would not suggest any other ones out there and those rentals from the cable company was the reason I bought this replacement as it works with full dedication. Just get an awesome n900 or ac1800 router with it and you will see the blazing performance it gives.

Had the older model of the same modem and upgraded after experiences issues. New one works great and helped improve reliability and speed.

Purchased this plus a wireless router and it fixed all my internet problems after having my ISP out to my house multiple times. No problems whatsoever with this modem.
