This is a great modem - I have not had any problems with signal strength since I bought this. I frequently stream TV shows through my Blu-Ray player and haven't experienced any buffering yet. This is a much better value than paying to rent a modem from your cable company on a monthly basis. Pays for itself after a few months!

This is one of best buys @ bust buy Best price, matched Amazon. I was able to good get speed in all rooms in my home. I have Comcast blast connection with speed up to 50mbps. This speed is not lost between floors/rooms. I installed in modem in second floor. Able to play movies on chromecast and access internet at very good speeds in first floor First month of usage has been a very good experience.

We got this modem to replace our 6y/o modem that just couldn't keep up with our new Apple Airport. We stream A LOT of data (Netflix, HULU, Amazon, etc etc) and this SURFboard is working great. We haven't had any issues at all.

This is a nice modem, and was a good upgrade from the DOCSIS 2.0 I was using. My old one was a Motorolla too, and I never had any problems with it, so hopefully the quality of the new one holds up as well. I was getting capped on the DL speeds before with the 2.0, and can see a big improvement with the 3.0. It's still a little pricey, or I would have rated higher. If this one lasts 4-5 years like the last one, it will be worth it. My new Xbox One plus all my other systems/computers/tablets/smartphones never have any slow down now.

I bought this to be able to ditch my Brighthouse modem and save $5 a month. I'll spare all the technical details of why I replaced my cable providers modem but lets just say you are not restricted by your cable providers modem with features that you cant access. This modem works great and is easy to setup. You do have to call your cable provider and get it provisioned and then your good to go.

It was easy to set up and get working. I noticed the increase in speed right away.

Installation was simple, and no more monthly modem leasing charges from the cable company! It will pay for itself in less than a year compared to leasing.

The modem works fine, but if the signal has issues it tends to freeze up or the admin site stops responding so you have to do the same old restart to get it working again. This is my second and both have same issue.

Bought to replace Time-Warner rented modem. Easy setup. Works perfectly.
