Great for Cox internet, check speed though

Good upgrade from 6140

Swapped this device for a modem/router combo

A+ modem

This model does everything it's supposed to do with speeds and wifi. It has paid for itself already and we have had no issues. We often have several items online at the same time and have not experienced any slow downs at all. Actually think it works better than the cable companies.

Works well in large home

I decided to buy the modem alone as I had a relative new wireless router and didn't want to pay extra for the modem and wireless router built into one unit. It was easy to set up with my existing wireless router and we have noticed a marked increase in the speed of our internet.
