Great modem fast works awesome with wireless router

Set up and installation was simple and performance exceeded my previous router.

It was easy to setup and get connected. Internet runs smoother and faster now.

I was looking for a high class modem that I could get as a replacement so that I could stop giving Comcast the $8 a month to lease their modem. Needless to say, I am really glad that I made this purchase. Especially since I was going to get the previous version of this modem, but this one is a lot better.

In the beginning it was giving me a hard time connecting all my devices, it would kick me off without telling me. I don't have much time at the moment, so I haven't had the chance to figure out the password difference 2GHz or 5GHz streaming were certain people only have access to a certain network. Right now, it only lets me have the same password for both networks. I don't understand why since I want them separately. Besides these troubles, overall it is very fast and great.

If you want to stop renting a modem from Xfinity, this is a great way to go. It won't work if you have phone service, but other than that it is great!

Great modem! I’ve been leasing one for about the last 4 years. I should have purchased one a long time ago! Better late than never.

Has been a very stable cable modem so far. I have not needed to reboot it for any reason. This is my second surfboard which is an upgraded to my old one after 6+ years of service. My old surfboard did not support the faster service speeds from the cable companies upgraded offering. It has worked as advertised.

5 min setup with Time Warner, no more fees works like it should no issues at all

I bought this modem to use with my brighthouse lightning 100mbps services. I have it connected to my apple AirPort Extreme ac wireless router and so far this modem has performed quite well. Throughtput is excellent and consistent. I reccomend this modem as an alternative to paying the cable company to rent the modem they offer. This is a much better option you won't regret setup is easy.

This modem was easy to install and worked perfectly within minutes.

I was using a old cable modem with Comcast. Then it start having issues or connecting and disconnecting. Thought it was a wire issue and called Comcast multiple times. They suggest I get new modem. I had my doubts. There is not much to cable modem install or config. Once powered on, it just started working. The speed seems faster too.

Had this modem about a month and working as advertised. Had a bit of an issue at first with staying connected, but once I moved it from the upstairs office down to where the cable comes in (closer to the Comcast splitter), it hasn't dropped connectivity once. Speeds are so fast compared to the previous modem we had and I'm glad I bought it outright instead of renting from Comcast.
