Tired of Company fees for a modem...

It's similar to what I had with one exception, because my home office is also in my bedroom, the modem is very bright. It eminates a blue and white light, I can't cover it due to the potential for overheating and failing. Otherwise, this modem ia a proven winner!

Plug call and play

All I had to do was plug it in , call my cable company (Time Warner) and then surf the internet. It works great and has not failed once in the last month. My type of unit!!

Good Router.

We have Xfinity service and the router works perfectly for it. Did not have any problem installing it, just had to call Xfinity to let them know the router information. It's connected to my ASUS router, no problems so far.

Not fully compatible with Comcast and not able to find a fix after much searching the internet for specific error code within modem log. It has not affected performance so far though. Also, it is not possible to manually update the modem's firmware through Motorola.

Works well...the second time around

This one worked well then it died on me after about 3 weeks. Took it back for a replacement and so far so good. Hopefully this one lasts. Jm
