I bought this modem because I prefer to have my own networking supply and it saves me $10 a month from the lease fees time warner wants to charge. It is very easy to install just hook up the wires and load a webpage from there the information you need to activate the modem is showed on the page.

Easy to use all and very compact. Quick to set up.

The only thing that took the longest was calling the DSL provider in order to swap the modems.

I purchased this modem to replace the one I'd had for over 10 years. It was time for an upgrade. I had a few issues but found out that a cable-splitter i was using was faulty. Now it all works great.

With impending cable co. upgrade, bought quality product, but Cable co. does not allow third party modem. Have to use their less debilitated modem. But other reviews show satisfied customers of this product.

Setup for this cable modem was pretty straightforward - the only difficulty came through dealing with comcast to get the device registered. I was actually looking at purchasing a more expensive version of this modem and several Best Buy sales reps talked me into purchasing this model, which saved me some $s. Kudos to the sales reps!

I needed a new router update according to Comcast my internet provider. An associate at the Best Buy store helped me get what I needed in about 2-minutes. We plugged it in & called comcast wit the serial number and it is working great!

Easy set-up and consistent speeds make this modem a winner.

I set up my new Netgear Nighthawk router first and am going to let it run a couple weeks before I set up my new Motorola Modem. I will check back with my results then. One thing I do know now is that I wish the modem was black. The white seems to stick out like a sore thumb when all the other components are black, It like Motorola was trying to copy Apple....

It does everything I need it to. It was up and running in a few minutes

It works great, I have no problem. It is easy to use.

This is a simple modem. For my use it is good. Surfboard modems are generally highly rated by users. So far, this basic modem has done well for me. If you are a serious gamer, I suggest you go up a level or two, but depends on you internet speed and bandwidth.

i read the reviews on this as i always do before any purchhase and even though there were a few not so good ones, the good out weighed them all so i went ahead and bought it. cherry on top was when even the cashier himself said to me this was thebest of the best right now. could'nt be happier. plus i save $10 a month now too!!!

Brought due to fact it's compatible with just about all cable providers. I recommend if you want to avoid paying rental fees to a cable provider.

It hasn't stopped working yet so it seems good. Very easy install!!!
