Super easy and super fast, great product for the price

Is on xfinity approved modems, but believe the negative reviews. It does NOT work. Tried online setup initially and lights came on steady, and the right colors. No signal. Tried phone setup with three different techs over 6 hours who tried everything and couldn't get it to work. Two days later a tech came out and spent 3 hours working in indoor and outdoor connections and signals and it wouldn't work still. He warned me that he's seen this issue with that particular modem, left me a comcast technicolor modem to borrow, and ordered an outdoor call at the pole. For two days he worked on outside signals and connections, signals were perfect and in spec, still wouldn't work. Please note that the lights were always on and showing perfectly bonded connections, but while I was supposed to get Blast speeds, I was getting less than 1 Mbs DS, but greater than 12 Mbs US. Speeds were perfect with Technicolor modem (>50 DS/12 US). I even called Artis/Mototola and they blamed the comcast signal. After a week of trying everything, and I have to say, Comcast was AWESOME about sending people out and spending hours trying to resolve the issue, I decided to return the modem to BestBuy and get the Zoom 5341J, which connected instantly at 58 Mbs/12Mbs. Save yourself the headache, there's something buggy internally or overly sensitive in this modem that just doesn't work.

Price was good. Color (white) is perfect with my decor. I DO wish the modem had more than one cable (USB ?) Port.

Easy to use and set up. Works great with my Router.

Nice compact size and handles our Time-Warner speeds.

I needed this upgrade to take advantage of the high speed download and upload I can receive by opening the bandwidth. My focus is not hardware, but based on the research I have done and the explanation from my ISP it was a necessary piece of hardware to obtain the faster speeds.

My wifi went down once and was a little trouble getting it back with this modem.You just have to unplug and plug back in and wait for it to reboot back on.takes awhile for it to reconnect to services

Easy to set up, handles all the speed from Comcast with ease and it's saving me $10 a month because i'm no longer renting my modem.

This product is a great replacement of my IP rental modem. The best part is knowing that it's mine...save money in the long run.

Great modem! Much better option than the dual modem/router xfinity gave me and I don't have to now rent one from them anymore!

Basically plug and play. No fuss no problem. Reasonably priced.

This is an older cable modem with 384mb speed, for about $40 more you can upgrade to the sb6183 for 686mb. Returned and upgraded to the other.

upgraded from the stock time warner modem. We have seen an improvement in performance, but not as much as we would have hoped for when paying $90.

Had the same modem after 3 years it quit working, not sure why, but got the same modem and hope it will work for another 3 years.

After researching for sometime i settled with this Modem because of all the great review and i don't regret it. money well spent.

We had serious problems with our previous system. Combining this modem with a Netgear 56 router has greatly improved internet in our house.

Another great recommendation by the staff at Best Buy, Rockford. Easy set up. If you are with comcast, you will have to call them to recognize your new modem. Sure beats paying a monthly lease. Will pay for itself in less than a year.
