great Modem and easy to set up.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This 3.0 modem replaced a 2.0 modem from my internet provider, which is my cable company. they were doing some upgrades and I needed to get new modem in order to get the faster internet speed.I had been paying for 50 mg but was only getting about 35 or 36 for a long time. after installing this modem speed went up to 50 mg.

Great Purchase

I spoke to a Best Buy salesman who was very knowable about these modems and made my choice. When you install it you will have to call your cable provider and give them the MAC address of the unit so they can properly connect it.

Great with Comcast Internet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Motorola Surfboard modem because my old 2.0 DOCSIS Motorola Surfboard modem was no longer compatible and was having internet connection dropouts. Talking with a CSR from Comcast, they told me to upgrade my modem. So far I haven't had any issues with the connection. Plus, it's cheaper to buy your own instead of renting one!

Worked great, then died
