Comcast internet had been running shortly and saw an ad for their faster internet service. Called them to up my services and turns out I was already on the faster tier but didn't have compatible modem. Purchased this modem, called Comcast to activate, five minutes later I was online again with double the download speeds and four times faster upload.

It's install was very easy. The install did require one phone call to Comcast to complete the connection (about a 20 min. call). The price was good. It well support quite bit of computers throughout the house, and well not slow down. It does have a weak signal in the master bedroom, but still does it's job.

This modem is awesome. I use to have problems with my old Internet and modem but not once have I had to reset this device. It is confusing that the light turns red with its connected to a computer or router but that is not anything to take this item back or to complain about.

Pretty much the standard for ISPs. Bought one for Comcast and another for Time Warner for grandparents. No more renting.

I finally woke up and decided that since I have cable internet and that probably wont change for many years there is no more need to rent from the cable company. Modem paid for itself in a matter of months and has never had a connectivity issue or any other service issues. Speed and throughput are better than what is advertised with my plan.

The cable modem is a good value and performs as it should. Installation was straightforward.

I was tired of "renting" a modem from Comcast. This Modem went on sale and I didn't hesitate to grab it. Came home from work, plug-it and called Comcast around 1am. They asked me for the MAC address of the Modem and in 2 minutes it was working without any hassle. This modem will pay itself in 7 months, extra cash in my pocket! Not Comcast's!

The Arris - SURFboard Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem is great. It does as expected. My ISP recently updated our area for higher speed - this modem is needed to achieve the higher speed. It does GREAT - I get 60-80 mb/s with some of my speed tests. Reviews were good with this modem. I like that it is energy efficient.

Easy to see lighted display, but it is bright. The modem gets warm but not hotter than expected. Boots up extremely fast!

I bought this cable modem and it's easy to set it up. Excellent cable modem and it a must item to have.

My old modem was working but outdated. This has proved to be a great replacement for my old modem. New DOCSIS is much faster.

This modem does everything I need it to and was a no-brainer to set up. The 4 star rating instead of 5 is because of the blindingly, bright blue indicator lights on the front of the device... OY VAY, they light up a whole room, fer sure!!! Otherwise, you can't go wrong. I've put some $$$ back into my pockets on a monthly basis by eliminating the COMCAST-provided modem I had been renting for far too long! :-)

Super fast and netflix loads much faster & no drops so far

This modem is awesome! Teamed up with my Netgear 600 router everything in my apartment runs smooth as silk. Uninterrupted connectivity and haven't had a single problem, and for the price cannot go wrong! Highly recommend!

It set up quickly,and work perfect isn't expensive
