Mediacom botched the service installation. I ended up taking this product back when switching to U-verse

Our old modem had seen better days and was causing lots of rebooting and pc not operating...real frustration. We purchased this one and it was a slam dunk! Easy to set up/connect, looks good and the lights are easy to view. Solved all of our problems.

First time I bought a modem to eliminate rental modem charge. The cost of this was less than half the annual rental fee. This was one of the models recommended by carrier. Easy to set up and activate at least with my current cable company. No problems so far. Wish I had done this months ago.

Comcast sent a letter saying I needed to upgrade my old modem. I did a quick search from their list and found this one. It's funny because best buys website had this $9 cheaper than the in store price. But didn't matter since I got a price match from them from a competitor. Anyway modem has been working great.

Great modem for a couple in a average size home. Works good for streaming movies and light online usage.

When I had to buy a new modem I was a little worried because I had a nice one that did not work for my cable provider. I was told this one would be good. and it really was. It was very affordable and I would recommend to anyone looking for affordable cable modem.

It works. Initially bought because we thought our old one was broken. Turns out we really needed a new cable splitter. But once the splitter was replaced, we tried the old modem again. Then speed tested versus the new one. Wow was this one way faster. It looks a lot better too, but since its hidden behind a desk, I don't know how much that matters. It does it's job - Me My Mo-Modem.

I bought this modem to replace an older modem that was continually dropping my internet connection. This modem is much more compact and is capable of handling faster internet speeds that my previous modem couldn't handle. Sine installing my new surfboard modem I have not lost my internet connection at all,

I bought this to use with Comcast internet. I ended up returning it and getting it at Newegg as a combo deal with a Nighthawk router. It connected fine and I have had any problems at all. My computers, tablets, phones, and game systems all work well with no problems. Setup was easy and packaging was great.

I really don't know what this thing does but it's freaking awesome so yeah that's my review and don't wear it out. BestBuy rocks party on Wayne party on Garth

Get this modem to replace the one supplied by TWC. It's been great, much more stable then the TWC unit.

Replacement modem for identical one rented from Time-Warner. This one is newer and seems more reliable. Remember to contact your cable provider and have them register the new hardware's MAC ID so it will work in place of the one you are removing.

This is a great modem. Saves 5 bucks a month on my cable bill. Setup was a snap. I just took it to my isp office and the linked it to my account in a under 5 minutes.

This is my third Motorola Cable Modem. Went from a DOCSIS 2.0 to the 3.0 this step as Comcast has increased bandwidth and added DOCSIS 3.0 Support. Called Comcast and had the modem configured and online in less than 20 minutes tops. Makes it easy when you buy one of their supported modems. And it was on sale!

I like this as an option to monthly cable rentals. Easy to setup and works well.
