Motorola is always a brand that's reliable and dependable.

The indicators a bright and clear for showing normal operation. The speed rating exceedes the cable company 100 Mega bit rate at the moment so gives room for higher speed options in the future. Saved a lot of time waiting in line to get a cable modem from Charter!!!

Provider was swapping out old modems and raising monthly rental fee to the point it only made sense to purchase one from BB. Staff was very knowledgeable of what my provider's specifications were and recommended this as the right solution for my carrier. Could have spent more but pointed out it would not have provided us with better performance.

I have used this product close to 2 months now, bought this and the Netgear modem N750 at the same time and they work together very well. This is a certified Comcast compatible modem makes it easy to register and activate with Comcast. The installation was fairly simple and straight forward. You will have to call Comcast and let them know the ID number and serial number and they can activate it in a breeze. It took a couple of resets before it got activated, but it did well. Once the modem is up and running turn on the wireless router and other connection attached (Ex: you VOiP modem...etc), then they all come up well. So far no issues and I hope it remains like that. In any case I requested BestBuy to give me a 2yr warranty on the both products just in case. That's up to you.

Easy to setup with Comcast and you will save the 9 bucks a month lease fee from your cable provider. No wifi or any thrills, just fast stable connection to your internet provider.

I was up and running with this modem almost immediately and it has run flawlessly ever since.

I have had previous version sbs 6121 which died and got this one. So far so good. Happy with it.

If you are tired of paying for the monthly modem rental this is a great choice

Modem is working fine after a little difficulty with Comcast getting it set up. After a couple of reboots it is now working fine. Speeds are about the same as with my old Comcast modem, but that is because I am not paying extra for their Blast service which is supposed to be faster. The true joy is not paying Comcast $8.00/month to rent their modem. I wish I would have done this sooner.

I had to purchase a new modem when I changed internet provider. I didn't want to rent one when I could just own one. Best buys price was great and the modem works great. It also looks nice. I have no complaints.

Before I had motorolla, I was using another brand that stunk. This has exceeded my expectations.

Xfinity TV and WiFi working great. Combined this with an ASUS WiFi router and life is good.

Purchased this modem when moved my internet to Comcast. It is definitely cost effective since renting costs over $10 with taxes. I was told by the Comcast technician Arris is the best cable modem to get.

This is a solid performing router for use with Comcast. Easy set up.

The bottom line is that it works. This is a no-brainer since Optimum charges $10 a month to rent their modem. This model was recommended by the Optimum agent and it can process faster speeds than what I opted for so I can upgrade speed and retain this model.

Great modem but I had to swap out the first one after a few months because it just stopped working, but Best Buy swapped it out for me right away.

This was a nice upgrade for my system. I was directed to buy this by Comcast to solve reliability issues. Turned out, the previous cable modem was not the culprit but this has still been a solid performer since the prior modem was replaced (a prior gen surfboard)

easy to set up, lights are really bright, best modem for the price.

Can't go wrong with this product.... Highly recommended
