Replaced a $6 rental modem and will recoup the purchase price in a little over a year. Provisioned with Grande in less than 10 minutes and just runs well without worry or constant attention. Not much can be done in the online interface, but you can reboot it if you ever need to. Use your RZ points and payoff is even quicker. Stable and trouble free.

Tried to use this with Comcast 4 years ago but it was not compatible. Just moved and new service would not support old modem. It works great and runs fast. Just wonder if there is a better one now...

I bought the modem only since I already had a good router. Also advoids future replacement if router quits, Should break even in less than a year on cable rental. Used in a multi family home.Cable installer set it up during installation. Has worked well since.

I bought it in time of need and so far it works as it is represented. Time will really be the ultimate test as to doing a complete and honest survey. Doing a survey this early on is not an accurate portrayal of it's continued abilities. But, so far, so good.

This modem does the job perfectly. Get one of these and stop paying rental fees through you internet provider and you'll be saving cash in less than a year.

Not much to get excited about when you get a new modem, but this one is a lot faster than the rented Comcast modem it replaced. FTP downloads that used to take ten minutes now take less than five.

This is a great product I was misled in the store by one of the employees I was told it was a wireless router also but when I got home my daughter had to plug up a wireless router to it so my entire home would have the internet again. But it is lightning fast.

Certainly gets the job done as far as modems go, but for the love of god, DO NOT buy this if you are planning on putting it in a bedroom, television room, or anywhere that you actually need darkness. I can read by this thing, or put on shadow puppet shows. No way to turn the lights down or off, short of opening it up and removing them.

Always be aware of what your internet service provider supports. In my area, this model was one of them and it was a snap to install. All I had to do was call my ISP so they could get the MAC address of the modem and I was ready to surf!

Works as expected. Actually had an issue one time, and my ISP blamed the modem (as expected). I spoke with an extremely helpful woman at Arris who helped me troubleshoot the issue and prove that it was indeed the ISP who was at fault.

Modem worked once I got it activated through my internet provider. That needs to be done first before set up.

We had bought another recommended modem for our Direct TV but had issues connecting. The salesman at BestBuy suggested this modem that was way cheaper but works great. I couldn’t agree with him more. This was a better option.
