Excellent Modem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never pay your internet provider $7+ a month for a modem when you can purchase a superior one like this SB6141 at a lower equivalent cost. The modem works very well, while its functioning. I had mine for about 1.5 years and my connection severely degraded, but ARRIS' support was very helpful and sent a replacement one.

setup was ok
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I setup my modem than plugged it into my laptop tried to access the internet and it sent me to my internet provider and that was the only site I could go to had to contact my provider to register the modem after that and since than things are good

Motorola - SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0

This one is significantly faster and more stable. I paired it with an ASUS wireless router that was roughly one year old. WOW what a difference using both wired and wireless devices.

The wireless is working great, for the wired, we ran ethernet through out the house and the signal is strong for all the drop points for the cables. I would recommend this unit.

Great money saver

I purchased this modem after confirming that it is compatible with Mediacom. Set up was a breeze! (I did have to call Mediacom and provide them with the MAC ID.)

Great modem so far, no issues

I've been using it for almost two months now, no issues. Would be nice to have a power button to make it easy to recycle, but I've had no need to do that so far.
