Bought the modem to avoid having to rent one from the cable company. After doing some research, I decided on this one due to the low price on a capable piece of tech. It's nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Purchased modem to work with Time Warner Internet.

Doesn't stall the speed of my 200mbps cable connection whatsoever. Consistently getting 195~ mbps through ethernet, very close through 802.11ac. Loses a star because of cheap design that looks lost on my setup, and the insanely bright LEDs that will require some sort of cover on the front.

My internet keeps going out and doesn't have great range, the latter of which is likely due to the router but, the internet is not staying reliably connected. This could be due to Comcast but for now, it's hard to tell. I never had problems with other brands but we'll see. I wish each icon was labeled for those of us who don't know what they stand for..

Went to the store, told the employee what I was looking for showed me this model and bought it.

It is considerably faster than the lesser quality one provided by Comcast. $8 a month X 24 months= $192+ taxes compared to buying it ourselves for about $104. Half the price and twice the quality. Great deal!!!

Great modem with ability to stream high speeds but a little more than I wanted to pay. Altogether, worth every penny though

No issues. Ordered to replaced same modem I had previously had for about 4 years.

I'm in a small apartment but my Internet remains as fast and steady as the day I purchased this. 2 smart tvs, 2 computers, 2 smartphones, a PS4, and a network phone all used at once flawlessly.

small, nice clean design, motorola did away with the stupid standby button, practically plug n play. took just a few moments to go through my cable companies provisioning process. mdm works great, doesnt get hot.

I am very satisfied with this modem. I have had it for almost 6 months and have never needed to reset it. It is used by 2 people at once, and we stream regularly. Great product and as advertised.

I decided to buy this modem after I figured I was throwing so much money for something that I could own. Now my bills have drastically reduced and the equipment is mine. its so easy to set up

Provisioning was flawless and the savings of owning my own modem is definitely worth it. Speed is great with 2x 4K TVs and having multiple devices running simultaneously.

I have used Motorola SURFboard modems for as long as there has been cable internet, and I pleased to say that they are still (in my opinion) the best modem available, even under the new Arris name.
