I needed a update on my modem because my modem was 16 years old saw this one in the store and tried it out and it works great and has great range. I get faster speed then I had with my old modem.

I bought this modem after switching from DSL Service. I settled on this after searching and research. This is the top of the line modem on the market and the speeds prove it!

I purchased this cable modem to replace the cable modem that I had been using for the past 5 years, through Comcast. Suddenly, after 5 years, out of nowhere, Comcast started charging me an $8/month rental for the cable modem. I am an IT professional, and I am technically savvy. The swap out of these devices was unnecessarily difficult, as Comcast could not get the service to work for me, using this cable modem. I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone with 3 different techs, and the last one told me to return the item because it was a Motorola product. Ultimately, I resolved the issue myself, after adjusting the settings on my Cisco Wireless Router, until I discovered that enabling the MAC Address Cloning fixed my connection issues.

Very reasonably priced and very easy to get set up and running. I, m not losing my internet connection any longer. Also happy to not be paying a $10monthly rental fee to my provider.

Bought this modem to replace one we'd rented forever from Comcast. Finally got smart and decided to save ourselves some money. Seamless installation/activation with Comcast, modem works great.

Not much to say about this router. Its affordable and provides solid performance so far. Gave my MAC Address to my internet provider and they added it to their network just fine.

Get rid of your cable modem and buy this Arris Surfboard for $60. There is absolutely no loss of service or performance from what you get from the cable company !

Just installed this a few days ago and right away noticed a way better speed. Defiantly worth spending the money vs renting a worse one from Comcast

Pretty basic and straight forward cable modem. Powered up fine and worked out of the box with xfinity cable. I have been using this product for over a month and no problems.

I replaced my old Motorola cable modem because I could never get better than 20-25 mb/sec download speeds. For over a year I was paying Cox cable for speeds exceeding that and it wasn't until a Cox tech told me that my modem cannot receive pushed updates and therefore would never reach faster speeds. Even though Cox cable knew what modem I had (modem must be registered with Cox to function) they were nice enough to keep that secret and allow me to pay for the higher speed plan. Now that I have the new modem and Cox upped thier speeds, I am still on the cheaper plan but I get up to 50mb/sec down.

Bought cause it was a best seller. Reviews seemed good. I'm using it on xfinity / Comcast 25mbps and have not had a single problem

Needed something for my daughters to use for their internet at college, especially since they are sharing an apartment now. The price was good and it works without problem, everybody's happy.

Thank you for this modem, I wish I thought about this 6 year early (rentalFee) I would have not gave my money to the cable company lol. So far so good no problem again thanks......

if you want to save on the rental modem fee you are paying and get a faster modem in the process, RUN don't walk to get one of these. it pays for itself in about 9 months

needed decent replacement modem and reviews on this one were awesome. stylish and stays really cool compared to other modems I have had. wish best buy had more of a selection.

I bought this cable modem to free myself of the cable company's rental fees. It was easy to install and connect to my router. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone .

Tired of paying the rental fee for our internet provider so we got rid of their modem. This has been a great modem for the last month especially paired with the Luna Wireless.

Seems slow when streaming Netflix. I have Comcast so that may also be an issue.

This modem works wonders! Its not called a high speed modem for nothing! VERY SATISFIED! No longer have to rent my internet providers modems!

This modem really helps you get the most out of your internet provider, just switching this out with the modem our provider rented (time warner) made the world of difference.
