Picked this up as TWC is supposed to me upgrading it's speed and wanted take advantage of that opportunity. Works very well currently and looking forward to the upgrade use.

Wanted to eliminate the cable co's modem rental fee. I have digital phone through them so I had to use a splitter, but they don't charge the rental fee if ALL you use their modem for is phone service. I had an old splitter & cables just lying around, but they worked perfectly. So now I have their modem and this Arris modem running through the splitter, with my router running off the Arris. I should mention that I initally bought a Netgear modem-router combo and returned it due to serious lack of signal strength. This setup with the Arris modem and my old router (also a Netgear) reaches every part of my house, even two floors away.

I bought this router because I upgraded my Internet service to a 30 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload package. The modem is fast and when I do a speed test I am getting speeds right around 30/5.

Do away with that cable modem lease from Time Warner Cable with this modem. It is one the best ones you can get. It does have some bright blue lights that also can be seen from the sides.

We don't ask much of our cable modems, just that they connect, stay connected, and give us good speeds and pings. This modem does all those things, so it gets 5 stars from me.

I purchased this modem to replace the cable modem supplied by TWC. That way I don't rent !!! Pays for itself with in a year. This thing is screaming fast with our 100Mbps speed.

I've been using this modem for a month now and the performance is amazing, way better than my old Comcast modem. You need to call Comcast to register your new device and you are good to go.

I am very satisfied with the speed of my Internet connection. The Best Buy representative says this modem allows my Internet to run ten times faster than the modem Cox provides.

The Surfboard Docsis 3.0 cable modem has performed exactly as I hoped it would. We don't have Gigabit Internet available in our area so there was no reason to pay for the step up model. This model has provided us reliable high speed Internet.

Called customer service to help with setup, but no problems with device itself.

I must say that this unit has increased my internet speed and has reduced the amount of time to hook up to the internet. However, I am troubled by the prices being charged for this technology. It is definitely worth shopping price on this product.

My old cable modem stopped working after 4 years so I went to buy a replacement. This was recommended and it has worked fine ever since I set it up.

Unit has good quality and is reliable so far. Has a substantial, sturdy casing

First one we got did not work but exchanging it was hassle free. Second one was great. Install was a little challenging but when we got it, our internet worked great. Very fast page refresh.

This modem is a great upgrade from the standard modem that Comcast installs. I constantly get much faster download speeds from this modem than I did from the Xfinity modem.

This item was taken out of the box, installed, turned on, and worked great as described. This unit is being used with Mediacom internet in Central Illinois and I have had no problems so far.

so far, works aokay. was easy to hook up, easy to understand directions. was a bit more than time warner cable said a modem would be, but seems to be worth the additional $20.

Replaced my stock Spectrum (Time Warner) cable modem with this one and couldn't be happier... runs like a champ non-stop!
