I purchased this item to replace an older, out of date modem. Set-up was easy to follow and functionality matched expectations.

This does what its supposed to do. After researching some, this modem appeared to be the one to get. Comcast did have a hard time getting their systems to recognize my modem but I put that on them rather than on the modem. Even one of the phone Tech Support guys from Comcast said he had the same modem and loved it. I am thrilled with my purchase and the buying experience at Best Buy. They were very helpful and even price-matched the product for me. This modem is a no-brainer. This is the one to get!

I moved into a new house and instead of renting my modem and router I bought my own. Works great with my provider and has zero issues.

Overall an excellent choice for fast smooth internet.

I should have bought modem router combo with directional antennas.

The cost was economical and the size is great and fits comfortably on the office desk without taking up a lot of space. I would highly recommend this modem.

Replaced older SB5101 unit when it failed with this newer unit. Pleased with the speed increase. would have done it sooner if I had known the increase would be noticeable.

This modem was the cheapest Bestbuy offered. It was easy to setup right out of the box and I've been using it without any problems for a few months.

The set up was pretty easy and I haven't notice any bandwidth issues.

I setup Internet service with Time Warner at my Moms in 2012. At that time the modem was "Free". Then year later a Rental fee was tacked on and went up each year there after. Once it hit $10/month that was it! No problem setting up. I called Time Warner tech support and she stepped me through the whole process remotely provisioning the modem. Works great only complaint the flashing orange data light was annoyingly bright. So blue masking tape solved that problem.

This is a great upgrade from my last modem very simple to set up then just had to contact comcast and give them the numbers off it and I was in business.

My speed went from about 11 m/s to over 50. If you have the prime option with them this works really well. Just remove the old modem and put this in its place.

Can't overstate the value of just owning your own high end modem vs. the monthly rental from your cable provider.

This cable modem has worked great for me and I've gotten the purchase price back and more since I no longer have to rent one from the cable company

I bought this modem last minute because my old one had quit working. This was a good purchase. It was an easy setup with minimal problems. So far so good.

I am not computer savvy, but this modem seems to be doing it's job.

This is the preferred modem by most internet providers and meets the newer technology requirements for high speed internet.

Easy to setup process. Looks stylish and is not too bulky or cumbersome. Great investment rather than having to pay a monthly fee to the ISP for their modems
