Bought this to support my internet through Optimum (didn't want to rent theirs), turns out it's only capable of supporting 200MB internet, but I had ordered a faster speed. I had them downgrade my internet speed to make it work because I was not about to reschedule the installation...used it one day, it was fine while I did but then I bought a 16x4 ARRIS to support a faster speed...it works fine.

I got this so I wouldn’t have to keep paying my cable company for renting theirs. It has done an excellent job

I don't know much about the modem but this is the one that was recommended for us. Everything is going good so far . Great product good price.

When Comcast required that we either rent or purchase a modem we decided to buy this one instead of the Comcast modem. Much cheaper and works fine.

I bought it last August, so I did not had to rent one from the cable company. It has paid for itself by now. Every month from now on is profit.

I replaced the cable modem from my ISP with this one and my download speed increased from 25Mbps to 75Mbps! Highly recommend this cable modem.

I checked and Comcast does not support this as a new modem anymore (end of June 2016). I put mine in 6 months ago, though, and it is working great.

I bought this to replace the rented modem from my cable TV company. It was easy to set up, worked immediately after I interfaced with my cable rep. Looks nice.

this lights up any dark room. less energy. can be cheaper

It's a great modem and helps for games or streaming to not lag. It's been such an improvement from my old one. Would definitely recommend.

Was having a lot of problems getting download speeds we were paying for. It was suggested that we buy an newer one. Fixed all of our problems

I bought this modem to 1) save money from renting a modem from Comcast/XFINITY and 2) replace the unreliable modem from Comcast/XFINITY. So far, this modem has worked without fail and has yet to be reset. The only real problem setting up this modem was having to call Comast/XFINITY to complete the set up; the call itself had to be made several times in order to get it registered (no fault of Motorola - just Comcast/XFINITY). The only thing I would like was a color choice of black to match my WiFi router and cost slightly less in price. Other than that, I'm completely satisfied so far.

Got this after my modem from time warner got smoked by lightning. Pretty simple to hook up, call them up and they activate the modem for you and your are done.

I replaced the cable company modem so I wouldn't have to keep paying them for using it. This Arris modem works as well or better than the one I had.

I bought this so the cable company wouldn't charge me to rent theirs. When installing my cable the cable worker had no problems setting up my personal modem.

Bought to allow me to take advantage of faster cable speeds in my area; went from 30Mbps downloads to 100 Mbps. Great.
