This modem boast of over 300 Mbps and is supported by TWC, but TWC says this modem will only do 100mbps? I get somewhat better service with the new modem compared to TWC refurbished and defective equipment.

This modem has functioned flawlessly from day one. It is much faster than the previous surfboard we owned. it works well with the Netgear Nighthawk router.

Did research prior to purchasing and saw how this unit will not become obsolete in the future but be able to have the capacity to weather the advancement of technology. Spoke with Motorola customer service and their associate was fantastic and so helpful and patient while he answered all of my questions and walked me thought the easy set up process. The unit works perfectly and I was able to get it for a great price as my Best Buy Associate matched the lower online price for me quickly and courtiously. Happy with my purchase and the terrific customer service from both companies!

We had it for a couple weeks and it worked great. We had to get a different modem as we converted to internet phone. But, the time we had it, it was fine.

Works great but get the one that is rated up to a gigabyte. It would be more future proof. Got tired of renting Comcast modem.

This modem was a great replacement for the useless modem provided by Comcast. I recommend to anyone hooking to Comcast service do not rent from the tech. Buy this modem prior to the tech arriving for installation and have him/her install this one when hooking up to the service. It took only one phone call for me to install this one myself so it's also a great replacement unit. It has yet to drop the service as frequently happen with the cheap modem Comcast provides.

Easy to install. Information need by service provider easily obtained. After only 6 months of service it started to periodically loose sync with service provider.

If your like most people and don't have access to Gigabit Internet, this modem has good value and will be all you need for the couple of years.

Bought this modem to replace a leased modem from AT&T. We'll make up the price within a year - well worth it!

Got this so I could turn in the one I rented monthly from my cable provider, so happy to have done it and the modem works great!

It was quick and easy to setup. Great way to save on rental fees from comcast.

I have had to restart this modem once in the month that I have used it. I can't say for sure if it was an issue with the modem or with the cable provider. Other than that one incident, it does its job.

I bought this to replace my Comcast rental modem. The price of this modem is great! 6 months worth of rental money would cover the cost of this modem. Installation was easy. Plug the cables and call the provider to register the MAC address. I use a Netgear router with this modem and had an issue when connecting the router to the modem. (Could not go online) Had to do MAC spoofing to fix the issue. (Although I am not sure if this has to do anything with the modem) Anyways this is a great modem and up and running for about almost 2 months.

No issues what so ever. I have owned most all of the previous versions of the surfboards all have been reliable

It did the trick immediately and no more having to deal with spectrum or Cox for their modem issues. I am very happy I made this purchase

This is the fastest modem out there with all the new standards. If you're going to buy a modem you might as well spend the $10 additional over other models or brands and get the best and most current modem to "future proof" your purchase. This modem is overkill for my present use but I'm sure I will grow into it. My prior Motorola modem has been working fine (albeit slow) for years and I finally broke down and bought this one. The old Surfboard had a tendency to "drop out" from time to time and I would often have to sign in my devices again. No problems like that with this modem.

Works just like it is supposed to. In addition, the gentleman who installed it was delightful!! We had a great conversation while he worked!!

The Modem was a replacement as was a router. This Modem was easy to set up which was GREAT for a Tecno "want-to-be". Thank You Best Buy For Your Help ! !

Helped me get better reliable speed.. Cut cost since I returned the loaner modem.. Also enjoy buying at Best buy since they match price with competition :-)
