Probably the slow speeds are due to the ISP?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A Geek Squad guy pursued me to buy this modem when a new router didn't yield the 200 MBPS Internet speed I was supposed to get from my ISP. Turned out that this newer modem didn't increase the speed of my Internet service - I still get around 50 MBPS which is what I get with my older Motorola Surfboard modem as well. The bottleneck must have been the ISP but I tried working with them and they couldn't help me. I returned the new modem and new router and am using the older ones still. 50 MBPS is pretty fast anyway - does everything I need.

Buy this if you want 100mbps download
