I purchased this modem to replace the one that I was renting from Time Warner Cable. It was easy to hook up and works great.

My download speeds increased about 5-10 mbs after installing this versus the Comcast modem. No issues after 6 months so far.

I am using comcast, and this works fine, is really fast. The main reason of my purchase though was its relatively lower price.

Works great for Comcast. Should have purchased one long ago instead of renting one for $10 a month from Comcast

I had originally purchased a Zoom DOCIS 3.0 modem but after and hour with the Cox Tech we still could not get the Modem to bond. I spoke to Zoom Telephonic the next day and was told their modem would not work with Cox service in California. The zoom telephonic modem is listed on Cox compatible modem list and was in stock locally at Best Buy & Fry's, so not having it work was frustrating. Motorola had no problem hooking up to COX Just cost more money. I DO NOT use Wi-Fi in home so this info is in reference to MOTOROLA & ZOOM Modems w/o Wi-Fi.

This modem was easy to connect and get up and running to complete our wireless network. Our old one was a netgear that worked well for several years. I'm hoping this one will last at least that long.
