Really like the looks of this modem. Very easy to tell if everything is connected, etc. Would buy this brand again.

I bought this with the high hopes of getting my own cable modem and avoiding the $7 a month rental charge from Comcast. Well, no matter what we tried to do, Comcast kept telling us they could not connect the router to their service even though it shows the signal is "hot" in our apartment. After convincing us of free self-install, they wanted $50 to come out and diagnose. I ended up returning it to Best Buy.

don't pay to rent a modem from your provider, this will pay for itself within a year and it generally has faster speeds than the modem the cable company rents to you (TWC in my case).

I replaced my Time Warner Cable modem with this one and it installed without any problems.

I haven't had any issues with this modem like I do with the ones that Time Warner Cable gives out. It's great!

I purchased this product a year ago and it is still working well. Setup was a slight pain as I had to call my internet provider for specific setup instructions (English was not their first language so there was slight diffficulty with that process). Once it was up and running it has worked fairly well since. My biggest complaint is that the LED bright blue lights on the front of this product flash WAY TOO OFTEN! Not good if someone is prone to seizures. I keep trying to find a way to hide the lights better as it lights up my living room like a flashing nightlight at night.

Had an issue setting it up at 1st. Had to work with Time Warner tech support to update. It is up and running now working just great.
