No more dropped signal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This replaced and older 5100 series modem when comcast informed me that I may achieve higher speeds with a different modem. Well, I did not achieve any difference in peak high.speed. But there may be some improvement in sustained high speed. The big plus is no lost signal anymore. I used to have my old modem drop out a couple of times a week due to signal.loss. This modem performs much better than the old one when I have a weak signal. I have had it about 2 months now and haven't had a dropped signal once.
