Good working modem for the price. Plus I'm saving $10 a month rental fee from twc. Will pay for its self in no time.

No fault of the device but calling the cable company is time consuming. Modem works great and was faster than the one it replaced.

This was purchased to replace the modem we were renting from time warner cable. This was much cheaper in the long term then rent for years. Make sure you google the other features of this modem.

If you're planning to stick with getting Internet access from a cable provider for a year or more, it's worth buying your own cable modem vs. renting it (paying a monthly fee) from your cable provider. You'll save good money in the long run. Make sure the cable modem is compatible with your cable provider. ARRIS cable modems have always worked well and reliably for me.

Unit was easy to install and a call to the technical department was easy and the technician was most helpful.

If you use a router that is a 2.0 with this modem I suggest you up grade your router to 3.0 or better. Failure to do so will cause your router and modem to stop talking to each other periodically. Un plugging your router for a few seconds will allow the router to reset allowing them to beginning talking to each other again. Interruptions when you are online are never timely so up grading the router will save you time and steps depending on the location of your router should you have to do a router reset.

Works great and speeds are exacltly what I pay for. I’ve had zero problems and would highly recommend.

If you stream movies, play games online , downloads , and use any kind of smart gadgets you are definitely looking for a modem like this. If you are a gamer like my self don't you hate when it starts lagging right in the middle if a really good game or trying to watch a movie on HDX quality and it changes to HD or even worse to SD because your speed is really bad , believe me with Motorola surfboard docsis 3.0 cable modem you will not have to worry about that any more. This modem will solve all your problems.

Installation is super easy. This is basically plug and play and there is no need to update configurations.

I liked the modem. I worked great with the cable network I have. I don't have to lease the modem with them now.

This particular modem drops connection at times with Time Warner Cable. I guess updates are in the works to improve connectivity. In the meantime, Netgear has a less expensive modem that performs far better with Time Warner.
