I use it to connect my comcast cable to my TV and Computers throughout the house. I setup this modem through another wireless router, Netgear, since I wanted more flexibility and higher security with access to my network. So far I haven't any any compatibility issues it remains up and running as of today. I put some heavy draw on the network with working from home (using VOIP) as well as my wife being on the network at the same time.
