Watch out if changing providers

However, I later decided to switch to WOW Cable's Internet service. Upon arrival, the installer griped that although WOW approves this modem, they "never work" after being used first with Time Warner. And indeed, it did not. There's no hardware reset button on this unit, so I followed instructions to reset the device via the GUI -- but that process didn't seem to work. I needed to exchange the unit for another at Best Buy (was still within the return period). The replacement unit worked with WOW as expected.
