Arris SB6141 is DOA
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ONLY buy this modem if you want nothing but trouble because you cannot get either the manufacturer or your cable provider to help solve the issues with this bad thing. The cable provider says its the manuf problem and the manuf says they will not provide you with any firmware to fix it and to look to your cable provider. You cannot even set it back to factory firmware. This is why they are giving them away on ebay by the thousands. This thing is constantly randomly rebooting itself. If you buy this you are gonna hundreds of dollars for service calls from your cable provider and its still gonna drop services every 2 hours even after the cable provider has replace every wire from their cable end, thru your pedestal, into you house and directly to this modem. NOTHING is gonna fix this. Look elsewhere and do not buy from this manufacturer. See the attached log for proof.
