Great cable modem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this Arris Surfboard to replace the Netgear cable modem I was prevsiously renting from Cox along with my monthly internet service. The Netgear performed poorly and only supported a limited number of devices. It was also very slow. However, that has all been remedied with this Arris Surfboard, which was recommended by both an external A/V expert I know and the Best Buy sales rep. Thank you!

Very good modem

This year they raise the rate of the rental. After searching their compatibility list and doing a lot of research, I found this modem. It's not the most expensive nor fancy, but it sure handles all I want it to do it will pay for itself in less than a year. I need to keep my cable company's phone/modem to use the cable phone, for which they don't charge for.
