I have not had any problems with it, so far. Just beware, if you have a cable phone line, this box will be of no use to you. I don't use my landline, so I didn't need a modem that connected me to it.

I will keep my fingers crossed that it would last a long time like my DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem. My upload speed doubled to 20Mbps but my download speed remained 30Mbps compared to the older DOCSIS 2.0 Surfboard modem I had.

Earlier reviews about this modem mention its good value versus its speed. However, it could definitely be better, i.e faster, but on the plus side, its user-friendly software was easy to install in just a few minutes.
