The $5.00 a month modem from Brighthouse would only work a couple days with out powercycle and it would just stop in the middle of downloads and the VPN speed was poor. This has modem yet to dropout or need a reset. My VPN connection is great.. And I save the $5.00 that the Cable CO. was charging me

Works really well and having the ability to utilize faster speeds with the DOCSIS 3.0 functionality is fantastic. Fairly minor point, but the lights on the modem are incredibly bright - not too terrible in an isolated room but probably wouldn't want in a bedroom if you're a light sleeper or need the dark.

My 3rd modem for my 3 business locations. No problems since the 1st one I bought. Only complaint is if it's white color versus black, Best Buy store won't price match with other stores even though they carry the same color online. Because you change the color of the shell, it's the same product on the inside.

I have a 2500 sq ft two story home and this works perfectly. No issues and no drops in Wifi. I mostly use the internet for browsing and video streaming, ie, Youtube, Netflix. If you're not going to be gaming or taking up significant bandwith, this is a good cheap choice.

Need a router if you buy this modem. I would reccomend getting an all in one router/ modem to cut down on hardware.

I thought that it will help to speed up my computer. It does not help my sons' laptop as I hooked up with wifi settings.

So far so go. Does what I need it to do running three game computers.

We bought this for xfinity l. It works fine but we also had to buy a router.

I change my old modem with the new one and Its working fast then other one.

This was a good modem but I chose to return it and upgrade to the 600 series. I have many devices using the Internet.

Needed a basic cable modem. No integrated wifi. Was hoping to add a second Ethernet connection for an upstairs pc. Wifi extenders etc still weren't getting the fastest available internet speed. Didn't realize could only have one modem. $&@#. Guess I will be running an Ethernet cable up into the attic to get to other side of house. I had to return this modem.

The last modem I had kept overheating when I played online video games, so I would often get knocked off the game while playing with my friends. Since getting this modem, I haven't had a single problem that can be traced to the modem.
