This is a solid and stable modem. If you are not planning in upgrading cable speeds above 100 Mbps this is a great modem to use. In my household built in 2000, connectivity issues encountered are usually Charter Spectrum's fault and not this modem.

Bought this unit at the suggestion of the on site Time Warner Rep. I was looking at a more expensive unit but he steered me toward this one based on my service and normal usage. Once installed (easily) I no longer experience dropped signals and also have better range within my home.

I purchased this modem a couple of weeks ago, and so far it has been working great.

So far so good. Plugged it in fired it up and was back to surfing online.

There's really nothing I can say. Just a quick call to the cable company, maybe a connection to an AC router, and you're good to go. Obviously if your package is up to 8 Mbps or less it'll be useless, but my tier is going to begin requiring 8-channel DOCSIS 3 modems so might as well buy them now.

This modem was basically a take out of the box and turn on. No problems installng.

We purchased this stuff from Bestbuy when we moved to another state and needed to install the internet. The Bestbuy guy recommended this one to us as it has 8 channel for fast internet connection so it could still be used even the internet infrastructure would be upgraded.

Bought this so that I didn't have to pay modem rental fees to Xfinity and I have been quite impressed with it. I paired it up with a Netgear AC1750 router and I am not only saving money on my monthly internet now but my connection is a lot more solid all throughout my house.

Lights are too bright. Wish there was reset button like I had on my old Mororola.

I got this modem to connect with Time Warner Cable and not have to rent their modem at $7 per month. The salesman at Best Buy was very helpful in my choice of this modem. He said it was the best connection to use with TW Cable..

Not bad for the price. WiFi is not the best does not have good range

Had continual problems with loosing connection and replaced cable and router per Best Buy salesman in the past..went again and talked to another salesman who said it couldnt have been either the cable or the router and said a new modem would take care of it which it did...

This modem did not provision properly on first set up, which required me to spend an hour on the phone with ARRIS tech support. The tech provided incorrect information about the modem (it has a built-in DHCP server that was misconfigured). Spectrum was able to provision it on a second try and it worked for one month. After one month, the modem stopped working. The power light stays off, but three other lights remain lit at about 10% of their usual way too bright output. ARRIS tech support told me it's covered under warranty *IF* I pay to ship it to them, wait 5-7 business days for them to inspect it, pay for them to ship me a new one (with four different prices for four different shipping speeds). Poor quality, poor tech support, poor customer service.
