I'm a Time-Warner cable internet service customer and this product works great. I plan to have this for a long time . . . it can handle higher level cable connections than Time Warner provides here today but, like most high-tech systems, change will keep coming.

Had to return the 1st one defective. Could not get it to connect no matter what we or WOW did. Just in the last 3 months this one would no longer connect. It took WOW 2 trips and 4 people to get it working again. THis time it was their lines that wouldn't connect. Probably not the best router to use if you are forced to use WOW. Recommend with resevations.

For getting rid of the modem lease fee this modem is perfect. The power and internet connection lights on the modem, when the channels are bonded, are white not green as the manual states. Guess the blue and green are so close together they cancel each other. Might be the white case that causes this. Good modem.

Would buy this cable modem again. Hope they produce one black in color.

Reliable modem if your ISP doesn't provide speeds greater than 300mbps down and 50mbps up. I've been skeptical about surfboard series modems since Motorola's modem division was purchased by Arris, but I haven't run into any issues with this one. Fingers crossed. As always CHECK WITH YOUR ISP BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ANY MODEM, AS IT MAY BE INCOMPATIBLE.

Great product!! I wish we would have upgraded years ago.

I had gone to BestBuy to purchase a replacement Modem. upgrade to faster speed meant newer technology for Modem to support the needs of the family. This modem delivers and supports all our Wifi needs even with visiting company (6 phones and 3 tvs connected wirelessly).

For home use, this is a great price/performance cable modem. No use spending more money on the higher end models, chances are you won't be able to take advantage of their higher speed options. This cable modem will do what you need at home and do it very well.

I bought this along with the router all of it was easy set up...havent had any problems. Set everything down stairs an we get great connection up stairs..We love it as it has taking care of all our problems. When hooked to cable company are service kept cutting out.

I've been using this modem for over a year with a connection speed around 15mbps down and 3mbps up. There have been 1 or 2 occasions where the internet stopped working and I needed to reset to the modem to fix it, but I suspect those were issues on the ISP side and not a hardware problem.

Works well, speed is not as I expected, but overall works well.

Needed new modem so went with this one. Works great.
