Got this to replace a Motorola 6121 that died. This has been working well so far with stable good speeds and to my knowledge, no drops in the connection thus far. I don't have one of those 100+ speed Internet plans though, so you may need something else if you do.

It's supposed to funnel in internet to my house. I used to be in a SBG6580 before a modem/router does not give me the flexibility because the wifi signal on the 6580 is HORRIBLE. So I got this stand alone device and connected an awesome router to it. It does nothing special. It does not suck. If you do not want to pay your internet provider for modem fees, this is an alternative.

I looked for great reviews through online and the arris had great rating by all other users, i have not been disappointed great product no problems with streaming and many devices at one time with no issues, better than having TWC rental

Got this modem after everyone recommended. Havent had much issues.sometime internet is slow but i guess its not because of modem but xfinity. I called them they asked me to reset both modem and router and they may did something from their site. Internet pace was back.

I needed a new modem because my old modem was outdated. I bought this based on reviews and glad I did. My old modem would need rebooted a few times a week, this modem has never needed rebooted once since I purchased it. This is a quality product.

I bought this to replace the Wireless Motorolla Gateway router. The old one dropped and reset 3-5 times daily and we could only get about 15MB over wireless. replaced that with a dual band Asus and this product. They work great together pulling 36MB everywhere in a large house. I wish this product had a firewall at least. This product has no settings at all its just a gateway that works.

I want to replace my Comcast supplied cable modem. I looked for alternatives to Comcast modem and found that this modem. Which is having 8 channel down stream which actual future proof for next few years. Worth of money.
